What a premier makes in his private life is his business. We are talking about taxpayer's money. Although Bernie may not do better off as a used-car salesman.

However, highest paid Premier in the second poorest province. Come on. There is something wrong with this picture. We the public are being ripped off.

He makes pleaty for all that he has done for NB a poor province. More in his pocket would not make him a better Premier. He has always stted we can pay more. Easy to state when you live with his life style; he can't relate and for a few times while compaigning he really understands.

I personally have had enough but people of NB are so passive who knows or don't care as long as their life is fine screw the rest of the people. Maybe there is hope to get Lord out but I would never place a bet.

You have your problems,don't you?
You can spend the rest of the day looking up,Discloser rules of elected officals.
In relation to poorer provinces, check on Transfer Payments, their why and how much, etc.
Then look up,and answer the question:
I was worth nothing 10 years ago,and I,m now worth 13 million,,,WHO AM I..,,30 seconds please.
Then answer: Who wrote the book,How to become a 13 millionaire in NB without working FOR irving or a bank.?Tough,EH

No Charlie, as premier of this province he is paid , the tory party payes him and so does Kenith Irving, you can tell that by the way Lord rushed the tax break the city of Saint John gave through last year. Its for that I give my vote to someone / anyone else.

Finally, another mckenna money grab, overturned by our present and next premier.WAYTOGOBERNIE

MONCTON, N.B. (CP) - New Brunswick Conservatives will promise to protect 100 per cent of senior's assets from being used for their care.

A party source tells Broadcast News that Premier Bernard Lord will make the announcement Monday morning in Moncton.

Last year the provincial government moved to protect fixed assets such as homes, cars and cottages from being taken to pay for seniors' care.

Now the Conservatives are promising to include liquid assets, if they are re-elected Sept. 18.

Only income will be used to determine payment for seniors homes, and home-care services.

Gee, yah, what, it only took him seven years and an election campaign to promise that. Just don't forget to talk to Paul after you've heard about Peter being robbed.

A POEM FOR BERNARD LORD BY TIM SMITH!!!!
(A parting from office brief )

OverBoard With Mr.Lord!!

Overboard went Mr.Lord Into the river of shame.
And as he went down,he said with a frown
I have nobody else to blame

As the people they spoke My ministers I woke
Saying deal with these problems at hand
Putting them on the spot so I wouldn't get caught
For my plans that they don't understand

For I fooled all the voters on elections that day
Into thinking I’m the man for the job
They had no idea the price they would pay
Nor did I in creating a mob

I thought I could fool them into thinking I might
Be the premier of choice that would put up their fight
But instead I destroyed everything that I touch
Now the voters are saying they suspected as much

So they yell and they scream that they don't have to live
With a man such as me a ( Con-ser-va-tive)
And if truth should be told then I probably would
Agree with the people that I misunderstood

Reflecting back now with no choice I digress
My legacy, job and my life in a mess
And the rumor I’m hearing I suppose that it's true
Back in with the red and out the blue...

Be it Liberals or Tories, the people will choose
And with your new powers you must never abuse
For it turns out the people hold power of blame
So take care not to join me in this river of shame!

(Timothy Smith 2005)

Can you remember how long it took Bernie to clear up the hellish liberal saints mess?
I think it was about 5 years. And did that money ever get recovered by NB power,in, what year was that 1986 scandle?
Is Bernie still leading in the Top Blogger poll? Thanks

And do not forget that close to $3billion went in smoke as a result of Orimulsion boondoggle. He has cleaned this province like robbers will a house. However he did it through incompetence.

Lot of efforts to hide information on Orimulsion. He did not renew the term of Auditor General because AG wanted to do a study of the boondoggle. He got rid of PUB and its chair because he was asking too many questions on Orimulsion. Many generations to come we will be paying for the floundering ways of Bernie.

"Clean up", 4:40? That's a good one. I dare Lord to campaign against the McKenna legacy. The vast majority of NBers sorely wish they could go back to the "mess" of the McKenna years.

hohoho.
mckennas legacy is that COR gave him a hugh insult.

And he couldn't protect the great Aldéa Landry.

And Claudett Bradshaw gave him another.haha

mckenna, the bilingual phantom with all the barnyard ideas for N.B

And that was the end of him.

You want to talk about how much is made in this province, check out the website on public accounts listing salaries over 40,000. NB Power - no wonder we are in for so many increases in electricity, check out how much money is made there. Gimmie a break, nurses and teachers don't make near what these guys make and they teach our youth and save lives.

Bernard Lord Makes around $185 000.

Part of that is his Premier's salary, and another part is from the party
