Not to tell you where to do your reporting Charles but since it's around the corner from you, they do abortions on Tuesday mornings. Do people really yell at the women going in and throw things at them or is that propaganda? Sometime you get a chance on a Tuesday head up with the camera and check it out?
They might not have since they may not have known when they had them. Now they do. Good move *&^^head. Perhaps you'd like to recommend a location for snipers.
Hey, if you want to debate this, let's but the name calling is a bit childish and uncalled for.
Pretty common knowledge anon when the abortuary is in operation. The blue vests and protestors kind of give it away. And you raise a good point since there are those who comment here that say in fact that's exactly what the protestors do and I think that's hogwash. Anytime I've seen them, they stand in silence and don't say a word to the women going in or the "guards". Is it intimidating? Probably, but it's a big decision to take another person's life. A sobering second thought before going through with it isn't a bad thing and my understanding is that some women have reconsidered and in fact been happy that they've reconsidered.
I'd rather they know that there is a place for abortions, rather than the womyn drinking, overdosing on cough medicine/drugs or using a clothes hanger to get rid of the fetus.
spinks, i know where you stand on this issue and everything, but I can tell you for a fact, as Iève (french keyboard) told you before, the protestors stand in silence, until patients come over. Then its a three ring circus. They yell and chase patients, and Ièm not exaggerating at all. Then, when they are frustrated that the escorts were speaking over them so that the girls donèt have to listen to them, they get mad and insult the escorts! Ièm not a lesbian (although Ièm not quite sure what that even has to do with being an escort) and Ièm not a she-devil. The guy who calls us that is actually on charles blog under the section about acadian celebration. Heès the one with the sign that has politicians spelt wrong. And IM the one gets called a career protester (ha ha). Today the protesters were well behaved (except for the lesbian comments*, which I can handle) but last week was bad, and theyèll be worse ones ahead.
** There is nothing wrong with being a lesbian, therefore it doesnèt really hurt my feelings so much as my sides -- from laughing.
Hopefully 8pm, this isn't too far down the blog that you don't get to read it. Although few here would agree I'm actually a pretty moderate guy. Frankly the stuff you wrote has me concerned. If true and given your writing I have no reason to believe it's not, that...well...isn't right. I think it's important for protestors to be there. If they're not it means society as whole condones abortion and when dealing with such an issue some healthy opposition isn't a bad thing.
But resorting to name calling is. Do you have to be lesbian to support abortion? I don't think so. In fact I know lesbians who don't support abortion. (yes, I know Spinks and lesbians, imagine the dinner conversation).
Maybe their tactics have worked in the past and made a young women change her mind and saved a baby. If so I can understand why they would do such a thing but I can't say I agree with the methods. A quiet protest, maybe a pamphlet for the women to read (it is a big decision and I really don't think you can get enough information) and I don't know sing some songs or something but name calling? I agree, that's out of line.

Abortion isn't a joking matter.
Maybe if you had a uterus, you'd understand.
