MY LONG DAY WITH BERNARD LORD, SHAWN GRAHAM AND ALLISON BREWER!!!!
I had quite a day yesterday, I left Saint John at 10:00am and hitch a ride to the Capital at 11:30am. Not bad!!!
I learned the Liberals were going to launch their campaign in front of the Legislature at 3:00pm.
I wasn’t thinking straight because I almost didn’t bother to show up because those Quebecois got me banned from the ground of the Legislature.
I forgot that the Sargeant At Arms Dan Bussieres put in place a foolish rule that no one is allowed to park their vehicle in front of the Legislature.
The campaign bus would be on the street so I was safe in that area but was I?
A few people came to me asking me if I was allowed on the sidewalk?
Dan Bussieres told me that I would be arrested with assault if I walk on the sidewalk.
I’m going to test his new law big time in the near future. Stay tune.
The bus arrive and around 40 people gathered to meet with the Liberal leader.
Shawn Graham arrive with his wife Roxanne and I went out front and took this picture.
Shawn said - Charles???
The little crowd had a chuckle...lol
Yes, the blogger was all over the place.
I’m surprise that the Quebecois security staff didn’t attack me and put me on the ground?
Sure would have been a good way to start the campaign?...lol...
Ok..forget that!
The media surrounded the Leader and away they went.
I asked Shawn if I could take a picture of the couple in the bus?
Once in there, it was the first official picture of the couple heading out for the campaign trial.
I was going to leave but Shawn’s wife quickly suggested that she takes a picture of myself and her husband.
I found this act very nice. I totally forget about me me and me....lol....< I believe this is a good thing!!..lol...
I told a reporter that now I got to walk at the Lieutenant Governor House to take pictures of Bernard lord.
I added that I don’t believe that I’ll be allowed inside?
The reporter agreed with me but I decided to give it a shot anyway.
Hey? It would be great if they told me to leave the area. I would have a field day with that one.
Once there, I noticed a group of media people gathered in front of the House.
They had all the typog lined up and were waiting for the Premier.
My God? It was hot!!!!
One media guy suggested that they go and stand under a tree to escape the hot sun.
I told the media that I wish that I was paid for this.
You people are paid to wait but what can a person do?
I will admit that they paid the price because they had to wait for the biggest news story in years and they had to listen to me at the same time.
Some must have said- Is it worth it???..lol...
One individual from the media noticed three people standing under a tree from far away.
It was the leader of the NDP Allison Brewer and two of her campaign workers.
The media hungry for some action decided to confront the leader of the NDP but then again?
The Premier could arrive without a moment notice.
Allison Brewer told the media that she’ll wait till the premier is done and afterwards it would be her turn.
I felt bad for the NDP.
You would believe that they would have announce their own little news conference somewhere else but money is tight I guess.
The premier arrive and the media scrum began.
Bernard didn’t look as tired as the past week.
He looked upbeat. He walked by the media and I stood on the steps but Tim Porter quickly told me to step down.
It’s funny because other photographers were present but what can you do or say?
He walked right by me and I never said a word.
I’m sure he saw me and he must have said- My God? Is Charles all over the place? Saint John yesterday and now in the Capital???..lol...
They walked in and shut the door.
The media waited and waited and even suggested they get water??? It was hot!!!
One media personal noticed Bernard Lord in the window of the building so a reporter tried to get a footage from outside.
I was going to snap a picture near the window but decided to back off.
Just like the reporters down the States...lol.....
One Assistant to the Premier came out and handed the media a press release.
I asked - Can the blogger get one? He thought about it for a second and gave me one.
It was getting hotter and hotter by the minute and the pressed had the camera zooming on the front door so they could get the perfect shot!
Finally the Premier came out to face the media scrum.
He didn’t say much and I was surprised that he would have a gathering at the Airport?
I said to myself- You mean that he’s going to fly in a airplane during the election?
Last night while thinking of this? I noticed the campaign bug driving by me on Regent street driving by me in the dark.
I quickly found a spot near his Van and waited for Bernard lord to walk by. You can tell by the picture that he saw me.
While clicking the camera- I said- Bonne Chance Bernard!
He quickly answered- Merci Charles!!!
I continued by saying Bonne Chance Dianne < his wife >.
I believe she was surprise that I was so polite?
Is this the same Charles who’s blasting my husband in his blog?
Hey? There’s a place and time for everything.
This is the second time that I came inches from the Premier and never said a bad word.
I said it before and I will say it again????
I don’t hate the Premier.
All I want is a study of the manner our kids are being drugged.
There’s nothing wrong with that and I will be straight forward in this blog in future weeks on this issue.
The drugging and the killings of our children must came to a stop.
The media interviewed Allison Brewer but she look a little nervous. I shook her hand and wish her luck.
Afterwards the media quickly drove off to meet their deadline for New Brunswickers.
Myself, I didn’t feel like writing a blog on this issue so I waited for this morning.
Hey? I’m a blogger so I’m my own boss!! No Irvings over my shoulder!...lol....
The grammar is terrible but I’m in a hurry.
Can you imagine if I was paid for this? Sighhhhh....I would be a Millionaire but it’s something that I enjoy doing so everything is fine!!!
What’s going to happen next??? Stay tune!!!!!
