I don't think Mesheau can be called lazy. He was a pretty decent MLA and cabinet minister and he's proven that with this move. He could sit there and go through the motions until an election next October but clearly he is going to do the honourable thing and resign instead despite what that will do to the government and his party. Despite anyone's views on the PC's, clearly Mesheau is a stand-up guy.
