That CBC reporter hit the nail right on the head. Too bad for Bernard Lord. At least Insurance companies are laughing right to the bank.

Only one thing that I do not agree with - even if people don't vote they still have a right to say what they want - it's not people's fault that politics and politicians cannot be trusted anymore - NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO EVER SHUT UP THE VOICES OF PEOPLE WHETHER THEY VOTE OR NOT - just because a person vote does not mean they make sense either - I will die supporting free speech for all whether people vote of not... the problem with most people is... they are to much capitalistically controlled to play against each other... I have always encouraged the voices of people... and not voting should never stop anyone from still having their say... we are all affected by politics and politicians whether people vote or not - therefore all people have a God given right TO BE HEARD - this... if you don't vote don't talk is for the birds - and it's nothing but cheap advertisement to get people to come out and vote... but it does not and should not take away a person's right to say what they want... I wish people would WAKE-UP and stop saying stupid things like this... if you don't vote then shut-up... DUMB... VERY DUMB and those who say this is nothing else but very supportive of the capitalist system to suppress the little guy or to suppress people who refuse to participate as slaves of this system... and those who support this... you don't vote so shut-up... usually knows nothing or very little about the true evil core nature of capitalism... I wish people would wake-up... and TRULY know their stuff....................... I admire those who refuse to vote for all the right reasons because it's those people who refuse to be the slaves of capitalism - a system which never ever had the best interest of the people at heart - I will say no more...

Charles; It's too bad that you don't check your facts or stories before blogging. The majority of people in this province have had lower insurance rates this past couple of years. Those who do not -have had accidents, or have fewer cars. When you have two vehicles in a family, the price is lower on each and when you have an accident, even when it is 50/50 the cost of insurance goes up.

Forget handling the truth; he has selective memory for all he has done in the seven years that cost taxpayers in so many ways. Money that will come out of the pockets of average people who struggle to pay bills and clothe and feed their kids. Premier believes we can afford to pay more but Billionaires need a 25 year tax break and that is all that is public.

Why is Irving aloud to take our tax dollars and crown land and many other freebies?

Remember the Bill passed to serve Lord's Billionaires friends. Remember who voted for the Deal.

Diane, Which insurance company you work for or is it Tory party. If the insurance rates have gone down, then where are the insurance companies' profits coming from?

Discussion is being screwed because of very long delays before a comment gets posted. What is wrong with you? Open it up for God sake.
