Could Stephen Harper have help Bernard Lord???

I find it very strange that the Prime Minister was a no-show during the Provincial election. I wonder why???

Bernard Lord partially lost because he was playing up his 'freindship' with Harper. Harper is bad news. His presence would have further hurt Lord.

Interesting relationship between Harper and Lord. I suspect that Harper didn't show up because he didn't want to be seen as supporting a loser. And let's not forget that Harper doesn't want to see Lord as competition in the future either, so just maybe he didn't want him to win. That's friends for you.

For all the talk from Lord as to what he could get from Harper, what did he get?? I think the figure was about $4 million towards Saint John Harbour cleanup. That'll go a long ways!

Lord talked and talked about them being best buddies--did Harper respond? NO!

My take on it is that Lord did not want to win and therefor didn't want him here to push the issue.
