OverBoard With Mr.Lord!!

Overboard went Mr.Lord Into the river of shame.
And as he went down,he said with a frown
I have nobody else to blame

As the people they spoke My ministers I woke
Saying deal with these problems at hand
Putting them on the spot so I wouldn't get caught
For my plans that they don't understand

For I fooled all the voters on elections that day
Into thinking I’m the man for the job
They had no idea the price they would pay
Nor did I in creating a mob

I thought I could fool them into thinking I might
Be the premier of choice that would put up their fight
But instead I destroyed everything that I touch
Now the voters are saying they suspected as much

So they yell and they scream that they don't have to live
With a man such as me a ( Con-ser-va-tive)
And if truth should be told then I probably would
Agree with the people that I misunderstood

Reflecting back now with no choice I digress
My legacy, job and my life in a mess
And the rumor I’m hearing I suppose that it's true
Back in with the red and out the blue...

Be it Liberals or Tories, the people will choose
And with your new powers you must never abuse
For it turns out the people hold power of blame
So take care not to join me in this river of shame!

That's a bit much considering that more New Brunswickers voted for Bernard Lord than voted for Shawn Graham.

Percentages are no consolation for Lord and closest allies. A loss is loss. He is out of the Premier's office. Good riddance.

Given Lord's ego and knives which will come out he will not be around very long. I hope he is licking his wounds as he has caused too many wounds to too many.

Bottom line they divided the areas and polls. Who cares about percentages now? Oh yes the Lord supporters; no tears are shed here.

Good job Shawn Graham, well done and yes now the work begins. He does at least take time for people.

Lord needs to reflect as we have been the last several years.

Of course people who have no respect for other people's opinion don't care about percentages, but more New Brunswickers care about them than don't.

Percentages mean everything. The fact is, more new brunswickers wanted Bernard Lord as Premier than wanted Shawn Graham. That's not being petty or a sore loser, because politics is no game. That's very nice that those people who wanted Shawn Graham got him, its too bad it had to come on the backs of the majority of New Brunswickers who didn't agree.

The first test before the ritalin study will be whether your pal even lets you back in the building.

Move on Charles. Mr Lord is gone, now lets see what your clown and his group can do...or not

"That's not being petty or a sore loser, because politics is no game."
12:48 PM that is talking from both sides of your mouth. Lord played this game for over 7 years. People were just pawns for him to be used to promote himself.

Thank God he will be out Premier's office. He just does not belong there. It is sacrilegious to put such selfish & self-centred person in the Premier office. I hope he got the massage.

Percentages are mighty God for Tories now that they have lost the election.

There is no evidence that he was that sort of person. He had a referendum, the first in New Brunswick's history..that's a lot of respect for New Brunswickers. He was the first to change the tenants act, that gives rights to the poorest in NB, that's far more than any other Premier did.
