I had many comments while in Saint John and many are very concern that our Democracy will end on Monday!!!

This has nothing to do with me. If the Justice system supports the action by the Saint John Police Force of delting close to 200 pictures from my camera?
This will clearly set a very dangerous precedent in Canada.
Canadians could be single out on the streets and their camera could be taken and pictures deleted!
Saint John police arrests a kook for disrupting a meeting and that ends the democracy in Canada. City of Saint John has a firecracker which can destroy the globe! Talking about exaggeration.
Deleting photos is not a Gestapo tactic. Taking a woman from her children in the middle of the night, raping her, and giving her the ashes of her husband in a box is a Gestapo tactic.
The end of democracy will not be decided in a Saint John courtroom. Your simple obstruction charge will be decided in a Saint John courtroom, Charles. The end of democracy comes about when power is abused, or bombs are dropped, or wars are ended.
Do you see the difference, Charles? Do you see how your words look silly? How you cheapen your cause as well as history when you use words like gestapo or talk about the end of democracy in the way you do?
If you want to be taken seriously you need to start writing about things from an honest perspective. This isn't about emotion or opinion. I'm talking about being a person with views and opinions that have a real impact because people respect them.

The only reason the issue of your photos is being brought up in court is because it relates to evidence regarding your obstruction charge. Specifically, your lawyer is arguing that those photos would clear you, but the force deleted them. The question before the charges is whether or not you obstructed the police in their line of duty. The question is not directly related to the deleting of your photos at all, therefore, no precedent will be set regarding that fact in this case.
In order for the question about whether or not deleting your photos, as a blogger and private citizen, was ok, you would need to bring charges against the police related to the deleting of your photos. As it stands, the deleting of your photos is merely a point of interest in a case that is about your obstructing or not obstructing the police force as they went about their business.

They already admitted they delete some pictures.
All the Saint John Police Force needs now is the ok from a Judge that this new style of Gestapo tactic can be legal.
