Yes, just wonderful. They can afford half a million to give bureaucrats new hybrid cars, yet won't say whether they can give people home heating rebates. Good show! Next election they'll brag about how 'energy aware' they are. How about this, cut off all the driving! With the internet and teleconferencing there is no reason for government officials to need new cars. Not to mention how much upkeep they are.
If they want to 'set an example', how about getting more cash in New Brunswickers pockets so they can replace their old cars. That would cut emissions far more. But no, that would benefit the people not the government.
As long as Tanker Malley is still getting a Speaker's salary, the Shawn Graham Liberals are doing an [b] awful[/b] job. Get into the legislature for even just a day, and get to work.
He may have done some good things. The problem is right now the average struggling taxpayer still feels forgotten; no extra saving for people who have been waiting for cash breaks now.
No, he's not doing a good job. Our Saint John Regional hospital here is in chaos. Read Saturday's paper, (Nov.11). All the doctors are resigning because of the filth and terrible working conditions at this hospital, our ONLY 24/7 hospital in the city. You should blog a story on this one.
