Yesterday, the line up was still long for New Brunswickers to get their Canadian passport but I had a little surprise this time around.
I took a few pictures and decided to take a picture upstairs but this time around I wasn’t allowed to take a photo inside the room.
I took this picture a few days ago.
The security guy told me in a polite way that I wasn’t allowed.
It was the same guy I bumped into a few days before.
This time around his attitude looked a little different. I noticed his eyes were different.
I asked - You have been here for days in this big crowd? You looked tired! What do you think about all this?
He quickly turned his head and said - No comment.
He wasn’t allowed to discuss the situation.
There was something different but I couldn’t put my finger on it.
But I found out a few minutes later.
I was told that the young guy was Dan Bussieres's son!!!!!!...lol....
I didn’t recognize him because the last time I saw the guy was in front of the Legislature three years ago.
He sure has grown and he looks just like and acts like his Dad....lol
What must have happened is this?
Dan Bussieres checks this blog around five times per day < maybe more > and he must have seen the pictures and asked his son about me being there?
Small world isn’t it???
The son acted just like his Father by the way he wouldn’t disclose any information.
He looks like a nice guy.
Going to the line up?
They forced the citizens to stand outside because it could be a fire hazard.
These people are lucky Global warming is here because it’s always windy and very cold in that area.
It’s raining out there and I wonder if the people are still lined up outside in the rain?

so dan jr. is a security guard also. lets face it that is what dan sr. is. an overpaid, ceremonial security guard. one step up from chasing kids away from the orange julius stand at the mall. ahaha
too bad you didn't get a picture of danny jr. so we'd know his ugly mug when we see it.
good job charles.
I just taught the story was funny but no more nasty comments about the kid.
My main guy is the Father.
He's the one who's trying to destroy New Brunswick.
charles what is this guys job title?
I believe he's a Comissionaire.
I love these coincidences. Funniest story I read all day.
If we're being fair to the kid let's be fair to the dad. Being in charge of security is hardly 'destroying the province', not even close. He's doing what he's supposed to, in fact he'd do more if you could, that's what security people do, thats why we don't want a police state, because police reflexively clamp down on civil liberties.
The culprits are the eight guys who acceded to his demands, not the one making them. It is political representatives who make the final decision, and it is they who are barring people at a rate unprecedented in NB history. Put the blame where it belongs.
Oh my god Charles you are full of s@&t. A good reporter would have done his homework before accusing someone. The Daily Gleaner was not able to take pictures because nobody is alowed in to take pictures. So you see they are not picking on you they are treating you just like they treat everybody else.
Or maybe someone saw their picture on this and complained. I know I sure would.
We sent our information for new passports in at the main Post Office on Rothseay Avenue December 19th by priority. They provide a service trained in properly completely all details so it doesnot get sent back and if something does gets missed it can be corrected through the post office at no extra charge and they fax the changes so no time is lost.
Passports are expected to be received January 11th. I'll let you know if it gets here or not.
We would like them soon because we are going to drive into the States in two weeks but feel later this Spring we will fly. We don't need the needless delays.
