ok just throwing this out there. please try to change my mind but I think eliminating the nb human rights commission is one of the stupidest ideas I've ever heard. please change my mind and I will come down on my lunch hour (I dont work that far away).
I must admit that I agree and I'm one of Charles biggest supporters. But even here I'm at a loss to know what the protest is. If the human rights commission is 'eliminated', who will deal with the human rights??
I assume there are members on this board, that would have made a good blog by the way, since most people only have snippets of information about them. If they are doing a bad job, then don't you mean 'replacing' the members of the Human Rights Commission?
If the aims of the protest and the workings of the commission were a little better presented, then people would be more likely to offer support. In the past as long as a person read every blog then they'd have heard stories here and there about the misdeeds or lack of deeds, but 'elimination' of the only group that deals with human rights is just bizarre, maybe its a language thing.
I totally agree with anonymous 2:03 and 3:40. What is your reasoning of thinking?
Plus that picture with the stabbing is pretty graphic. You say that you sensor comments for lies (which I think you lie all the time) and swearing. Well my friend I think I would prefer swearing over that picture.
