What's the story there, is that true? Did she get bad service, did they refuse service? Or were they just surprised that no english customers come into Caisse Populaires? I think it should be a law in New Brunswick that people keep their money in a credit union, or else get a tax break because of it. Better that than sending New Brunswick money to Toronto and Hong Kong.
We just wanted to join a credit union, but the member shares are much more reasonably priced at the caisses populaires than at other credit unions. My boyfriend went in to make an account and they were suprised when he came in because mostly acadians come in. I think they were just pleased to know that there wasn't prejudice towards acadians from us because the primary language of the bank wasn't an issue from us. They are a really great bank!!!
