THE 2003 SIX MONTHS PROTEST CONTINUES IN FRONT OF THE NEW BRUNSWICK LEGISLATURE!!!!

I heard a few good stories.

One is someone who chained himself to a
bench in Regina because he wanted to bring the issue Ritalin to a head.

A chain? I never even thought of that one
but someone would try in the Legislature down the road.< That’s a story for later on. >

One guy told me that he has a good friend and he has ADHD!

He thinks that he’s fantastic because he’s not lost for words and he’s good for conversation.

That day was all good stories about people with ADD/ADHD.

Another was about a guy who sales cars and he has ADHD! He makes lots of money I guess and that’s whar I’ve been saying for years.

Once a person with ADD/ADHD gets involved in
something? They go all out!

Take a close look at Vince the owner from the WWE?

Only a person with ADHD would come out with the soap opera that comes out in the Wrestling!

Look at him? He’s a Billionaire! Bill
Gates is another successful story! What bothers me in this Province is that we’re behind the time and through the Human Rights Commission people with ADHD are treated very differently!

The first 3 weeks were very difficult because I was a stranger in a new City!

No one knew me and I kept in close contact with my cousin Cecile in Saint John.

Thank God for her because she always encouraged me in my battle.

She’s the only family member that I am very close with and I really love the girl!

Many politicians were concerns about me
during the beginning of the protest.

They approached me with this question - I know you don’t have any money so therefore how do you survive?

I quickly answered- Soup Kitchen! They replied- URG!!! SOUP KITCHEN???

I told them what’s wrong with the soup kitchen?

They eat like king and Queens in there!

Yes! Soup Kitchen!

They do eat well in that needy place and it’s good
for the poor.

From what I heard that the Justice Minister
Brad Green volunteers his time in that needy place every Monday!

Myself, I only go there once a day and that at 5:00pm!

I’m too busy collecting names for my petitions.

I might add that I am very hungry once I
get there.

I'm in day 5 of my protest and it's too hot to be
making speeches about ADHD!

I must have chatted with around 200 people and one MLA told me that many voters in his
riding are very concern of the manner that the Irvings are buying all the Papers in this Province.

I told the people that you won't see this story about ADD/ADHD in the Irving Papers because the Irvings are dead set against ADD/ADHD!

Take a close look of their hiring policies?

You need a urine test and a blood test! As
someone from the Irving Empire once told me--They want to do the same as Hitler! They want employees with blond hair and Blue eyes!

Not ADD/ADHD! That's for
sure....

I might add that no MLA from the P.C. Party
came and chat with me. Many members of the party did but no M.L.A.'S!

Did they get orders from the Premier's office not to chat with me? Who knows?

Maybe Bernard Lord is still listening to the Evil Bureaucrats and not the people?

I had 10 Liberal M.L.A.'S came to chat
with me bringing me a coffee.

My God!

One even bought me to a Sea Food Restaurant!

In early July, I noticed one image that was a very touchy issue in Saint John and those were the skateboarders.

Late in the evening you would see a bunch of young kids playing follow the leader with their skateboards. You could hear them
coming with the wheels rolling against the streets or sidewalk.

Not too many buildings would escape the wrap
of these energetic kids.

Anywhere there’s a railing?

They would try their luck sliding down without
breaking their backs!

From what I’ve witnessed? I couldn’t understand the reason they received such a raw deal from the public?

The next day, the staff at the Legislature explain to me the damage these kids cause to the steps and railing of the Legislature.

They made a special park for those kids but it’s
very far away.

I decided to approached these kids with the
issue of ADHD!

They all knew what I was talking about
and one of them told me that he doesn’t have
ADD/ADHD and he does find that there’s too much noise in the classrooms.

I heard this story over and over that the
noise is too much for some kids, So therefore you can understand what a true ADDer goes through?

Someone approached me on the 11th day of my protest that I should start a petition.

I said - A petition? Why do I need a petition?

Don’t the Government believe me when I tell them the many sad stories that I’ve been
hearing from the public during these past few days.

I guess that it doesn’t run that way.

Those government people will say - Hey? That’s Charlie exaggerating again!

Now, I had to decided what I should put on my
petition as a headline?

A guy from Ontario showed up and we discuss what to write on my petition so the public would sign.

I came down with this line- I agree that Ritalin is Over Prescribed in this Province!

Je suis d’accord que le Ritalin est sur-prescript dans cette Province.

He signed his address and name on my piece of paper.

My fourth name was Bernard Richard.

Bernard always supported me with this battle.

I remember a few years back when I found out that I had ADHD, he was the Minister of Education when the Liberals were in power.

When I phoned Voice of the Province < Talk Show> Bernard always supported me so
therefore I asked Bernard if he would present my
petition to the Legislature once I’m done?

He gladly accepted my offer but little did we both know that down the road he would leave the Liberal Party in shambles.

I’ll discuss that issue in the future.

Bernard was always good to me and I strongly believe that if the Liberal would be in power today that my issue would be taken seriously.

I had a petition in my hand and I confronted anyone who would passed by my tent.

Why only the tent?

I may as well tackle the people on the streets.

During the next few weeks, anyone walking in front of the Legislature would have
been approached by me.

It was very degrading work because this is a snobby City!

All you see around is Government workers and I must have heard over 1,000 time over that they support me but they cannot sign of the fear of losing their job.

I always believe that we live in a democratic system in this province?

Why shouldn’t be allowed to speak up on issues that concern them?

Especially on the emotional issue of ADHD?

Pretty bad people aren’t allowed to speak out!

In later months, I would be confronting Bernard on this issue on a talk show.

I asked someone is they knew about ADD/ADHD?

One young parent looked at me in the face and said- My son don’t have ADHD so why
should I care?

Another couple were walking in front of
the Art Gallery with a stroller with kids in the
seats. All they needed was a fancy hanky in their
hands to really play the part of high class snobby person.

In a very rude manner the father said - We know all about ADD/ADHD and kept on walking by!

I shouted - Once those kids start moving around too fast in the classrooms?

Than you’ll know what I’m talking about!!!!

When you collect a petition?

You must have very board shoulders.

On one occasion - I asked an older couple if
they would be interested in signing a petition?

The guy in his 60s said - Sorry don’t understand English!

I asked the same question en Francais.

He continued with his wife in his arms and said- Ouiasss!!!

Which mean- Yes!

I quickly recognize the accent and I shouted - You
must be Quebecers because you’re very ignorant!

I really do despise people who believes that their shit don’t
stinks!
