I have setup a site dedicated to this Bill 17 and for the children of the Province of New Brunswick that ride these little machines under proper adult supervision.

Please share this link so people will know why we are really fighting.

Who are the Liberal Government to say that we are not responsible parents?

What will the Liberals do next?

Maybe they could accept applications from parents that want to have kids to see if we are allowed to produce a child or are we responsible enough.

The Liberals wasted billions on this so called Gun Law they introduced a couple of years back.

Now where are they going to get the money to enforce these so called new Laws of this new Bill 17?

Yes the poor tax payer will suffer again ! I think our tax dollars could be put to a better use else where !

We all know that we all want things and sometimes some things just have to wait. In the best interest of all people young and old; rules need to be there. Insurance , courses should be there before a purchase is made. The size of the ATV or bike should only be an issue if a person is smaller and younger. Head injuries cost us in more ways. The person on the recreational vehicle has to have liability insurance for all scenerios that might occur. Because you may think it is not fair your child can't ride because of his age; it is unfair to ignor the laws and injure an innocent person who may never walk again.

Just like all things; some can drive cars at 10 or twelve years of age; does that make it right or legal-- NO! Days of driving in a back empty field or back road and never meeting or passing someone is not possible. All lives deserve respect.

One more thing to think about is that you, as a parent are the adult and you are the one who is breaking the law when you allow a minor to drive and endanger your child or another person who they may have a collision with. Enforcing insurance has to be the first priority.

Children should be allowed to drive a machine that is suitible to thier size! Some children are able to drive a bigger machine but it should be frowned upon.
But It wont stop children from getting killed, accidents are still going to happen and thier will be head injuries too!
I believe We all think these laws are to help but in the end it as usual just ends up with the government slowly encroaching on every right and freedoms we have .
Another control which will probably not do a thing kinda like gun control, its a control not over the guns but over our lives. At this rate soon we will need a goverments ok to cross the street after all its dangerous. I had a motorcycle at age 8 and hunted at age of 9 and drove on the highway by 12 and i have hurt no one and that same position goes for many people walking around today because we were responsible for our action ,not like these up and coming generations that the government want to raise a bunch of fools!

when you give up freedom for safety ,you deserve niether.I believe that was a quote by benjamin franklin!

What use to happen years ago; breaking the law when no one got caught or hurt is one thing. Today you are liable so you better have a course, insurance and a valid license.

Drinking and driving is another issue too. Usually as they get older.

No minor should be left alone on a small ATV either. Sorry but you would be the first to complain or sue if a young person had an accident a struck your family or love one.
