Are the Irvings giving out deals before he cuts the service off to allow lng tankers?

Ferry Fundy fares discounted

In conjunction with interior renovations of the Princess of Acadia, Bay Ferries Ltd. has announced it is offering a 25 per cent discount on full passenger and vehicle fares on the Bay of Fundy ferry until the end of April. During the "Extreme Makeover, Princess Style" promotion, for example, the cost of a one-way trip for a vehicle and passenger travelling between Saint John and Digby will be reduced to $99 from $125. A one-way walk-on ticket will be $23 rather than $30. For more information, call 1-877-359-3756 or visit www.nfl.bay.com/extrememakeover online.

Wouldn't it make more sense to have deals during tourist season? Even with high gas prices its not worth the ferry cost. Do you know for sure that Irving owns the ferry service?

No Irving doesn't own the ferry service...Do you suppose Charles will apologize for his uncalled for slanderous remark?

We don't know that, nobody has proven it either way. It turns out Northumberland Ferries does have a majority partner, but nobody knows who it is. Anybody can clear it up post the link here. At the website they don't say who the primary shareholder is. No point apologizing til the proof comes out.

So, you can just make sh*t up until you have someone else proves you wrong? Ahh so thats what bloggers do. Nothing like taking responibility for your actions.
