These days there’s racism in the little town of Truro in Nova Scotia.
A black councillor was approached by some youths outside of his home. The youths yelled the N word!!!
The scary part of this story is that the councillor said that he doubts the Town Council will denounce this action.
Boy? What’s going on in this little Town lately? Can’t be all that bad if they elected a black person as a councillor?
If I was the Council? I would quickly change my attitude towards the minorities in the town.
Does Truro wish to be known as the largest Bigot little town in Canada????
Hey? Maybe this is a new way to attract the tourists in that part of Nova Scotia?
I can just imagine the kind of attitude will land in Truro, Nova Scotia?
The atmosphere must be like landing in Alabama around 50 years ago????

Is this the same place a black fella was kicked up side the head for trying to pay with a 100$ bill and the store refused and the rcmp walked in and kicked the crap out of him for nothing on security camera too??? happened a little over a year ago? was on global news service?? Awful racist place,hard to believe it happens in small towns too! Shows what happens when people are brought up to be ignorant of others and thier feelings!
Gay flag? how bout a hetero flag too and while your at it one for my dog he feels left out too!Nothing special about gay/lesbian people that they need a flag on community property,fly it on thier own property!
I believe that the issue is that people are not allowed to fly gay flags, not even in their own yards.
If enough people got together to promote Celebrate Dogs Day, they should be able to fly their flag for a day. It is called democracy.
It is the people that want to spread hatred and racism that have to be stopped.
