Yes, these snobs are powerful people. They can deny certain journalist a media pass and they can charge high prices so the less fortunate can't afford these gala events.

let's not get carried away on this one - there were posters for Evolve up everywhere during the summer, and I doubt that festival has much support from our totalitarian overlords.
