SPIRITUAL LIVING
Prayer and Devotions

See the Great Light

Resolution: Examine your conscience to see if you are following Christ’s lead or your own likes and whims.

January 27, 2008
Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

Matthew 4: 12-23
“Now when Jesus heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew to Galilee. He left Nazareth and made his home in Capernaum by the sea, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali, so that what had been spoken through the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: ‘Land of Zebulun, land of Naphtali, on the road by the sea, across the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles-- the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and for those who sat in the region and shadow of death light has dawned.’ From that time Jesus began to proclaim, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.’ As he walked by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea--for they were fishermen. And he said to them, ‘Follow me, and I will make you fish for people.’ Immediately they left their nets and followed him. As he went from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John, in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets, and he called them. Immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed him. Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and curing every disease and every sickness among the people.”

Introductory Prayer: Lord, you want us all to see you, the great light. I beg you for this grace. Increase my faith; shed light on my darkness. Let your light inspire me with the hope to keep going, and make your love ignite in my heart a burning desire to be always by your side.

Petition: Lord, light up my darkness so I can be a beacon of your love.

1. Light Has Dawned As the sun rises in the morning and lights everything hidden by the cover of night, Christ chooses his moment to enlighten our lives. Leave your darkness behind. Look at the light and follow him. Don’t be afraid when Christ allows you to see your sins and shortcomings. Realize it is a privileged moment to refocus your life on the mission, a moment to let go of the past and embrace God’s will. Many times God acts right after some devastating moment. Christ knew his moment had come after the terrible news of John the Baptist’s arrest. We should be open to God’s timetable. Will we allow our eyes to sparkle with his amazing light, or will we close them with the shadows of our past?

2. He Chooses Coworkers Do I realize that my vocation is to work with God? We are all called to be Christ’s coworkers, to work in his vineyard. We work with Christ by working alongside our bishops, pastors, and other Catholics. I also know I am called to work with others because I am part of the Mystical Body, the Church. How beautiful it is to see the Church working as a unified force! We experience what it means to have coworkers at our side. I rejoice with others’ successes and suffer with them in their setbacks. We are called to be one body working in unison, each with his or her particular call from God to extend his Kingdom. It is a privilege to know we have found our calling.

3. Lording Over or Leading? Christ always led by example. His words were the most powerful ever heard by man, and his followers dropped everything in response to the simple invitation: “Come follow me.” They did not simply follow a teacher who preached an excellent sermon; they followed a Divine Person, a way of life. He led the way, bringing his words to life by his actions. He always thought of others first. He worked with those closest to him, his disciples, to show them that true leadership does not lord over others, but loves others to the extreme of dying to oneself. Christ is on a mission. Am I following his lead?

Conversation with Christ: Lord Jesus, you continuously move my heart as you moved the hearts of the first disciples. I want to follow you without ever looking back. I want to lead as you lead, and love as you love.

Resolution: I will examine my conscience to see if I am following Christ’s lead or my own likes and whims.

The drugs compagnies knows that Mike Murphy gave more orders to the school system to drug and kill our children.

Very sad.

So? To keep our children safe in the playground? The drug compagnies will lobby the Government that it's safer to drug the kids.

and the Government wonders why the immigrants don't wish to stay in this Province?

Far fetch????? I don't think so!!!!

HOW IS BONNIE O'DEA BEING TREATED IN THE RESTIGOUCHE MENTAL WARD???? IS SHE STILL ALIVE??? IS SHE FORCE ON DRUGS???? VERY SCARY STUFF!!!!

Last week, I was approached by someone asking me if I heard what happen to Bonnie O’dea???

I didn’t heard so the individual read me the story in the Irving’s papers.

Too bad the Irvings are so evil that we cannot use their story in this Blog.

The Senate must investigate the Evil Irving Empire!!!

Ok..never mind that one!!!!

It was a funny but a very sad story.

Bonnie was in court because of a confrontation with the Sheriff who showed up to her place to evict Bonnie from the Housing building.

Once in court Bonnie was swearing and a little out of control so the Judge sentence her to a 30 day evaluation in Restigouche.

Bonnie quickly answered - I must admit that I never saw that one coming your Honour!!! lol....

What I’m concern about is this???

I know Bonnie and will consider her a good friend when she’s in the right frame of mind.

She’s not a bad person but when she loses her temper? There’s nothing to stop her.

When she have something in her mind? There’s no escape.

tent-city-4-july2704

I know because I had a few confrontation with the girl.

She’s still not a bad person. I ALWAYS make my own judgement on individual I wish to chat with.

Bonnie isn't all that bad if she's in a good mod.

IMG_9205

Now? I always said that one day, the government will make certain that I end up in the mental ward in Restigouche.

I might add that if I end up in there? I have ordered three individual to watch me very closely.

I’m curious to know what’s the procedure in that place?

Bonnie O’dea arrives in a place like that all wired up and in her mind?

She did nothing wrong!!!

IMG_9432IMG_9438

So? Do the staff jumped on her and force her on drugs?

Do they put you in a straight jacket for days?

halloween-straight-jacket

What do they do in that place anyway?

I had a chat with someone who went there and the only thing that I could get from the poor guy was - They’re crazy man!!!

This is why it’s very important for this blogger not to be there because what do you do with a blogger in a Mental ward?

You must make certain that the blogger forget what he is!!!

This is where the electrical shocks comes in action...lol

After my 30 days stay in Restigouche?

I would walk the streets in the Capital asking - Hey man??? I have ADHD do you have a dime???

I would have forgotten about blogging and other issues.

They would hand me a ticket for panhandling and tell me to move on.

So? What’s going to happen to Bonnie?

Will she end up like Ashley Smith?

Dead???

Once the Government got you in jail or a mental ward?

You’re done!!!!

Bonnie will appear in court on February 13 and this blogger will be there.

I got lots of questions of the way she was treated but maybe she’ll be so full of drugs that she wouldn’t even know who I am???

We live in a free society but for those who cross the line out of frustration?

Their freedom is gone forever and could die!!!!

Ashley Smith is a fine example.

IMG_5376

Could Bonnie hit someone in the Mental ward and her jail time will be increase by years? My prayers are for Bonnie O'dea!!!

IMG_1153

Who truly knows?

Is there any readers who got some answers from my questions????

Truly stay tuned!!!!!

Tuesday morning, I decided to show up at the New Brunswick Legislature to cover the arrival of the Governor General Michaëlle Jean

Once there, I was quickly confronted by the Fredericton Police Force.

IMG_7115

I said to myself - Here we go!!! They must have work very hard behind the scenes of how to handle me?

They are going to tell me that I’m not allowed on the Ground of the Legislature.

They never said a word. As a matter of fact? They were very polite.

I continued on but I wasn’t comfortable. A person could feel the security around ya.

Many Police officers, R.C.M.P. and the Secret Services.

IMG_7105IMG_7121_editedIMG_7188

I did notice many immigrants standing in the cold rain for a chance to meet the Governor General.

IMG_7113

A few were surprised that I was on the ground of the Legislature.

I noticed Dan Bussieres standing on the front steps.

I tried to ignore all the security. I might add they were watching my every move.

The star of the show arrive on the scene and the media went crazy.

IMG_7145

I decided to stay behind the so-call barricades.

I knew the Governor General would walk right by me and I would take a good shot.

Sure enough, this is exactly what happen.

She was near Shawn Graham.

I went on one knee and took a few shots.

IMG_7154IMG_7160

Once I got up, the Governor General Michaëlle Jean was standing right in front of me.

I wasn’t there to shake her hand. I was there to take pictures.

But there she was and I got caught off guard.

Shawn quickly told the Governor General- This is Charles LeBlanc.

IMG_7148

Michaëlle Jean smiled and shook my hand.

I said - I’m a blogger.

I could tell by her facial expression that she knew exactly what was a blogger.

I quickly continued- I’m the biggest blogger in New Brunswick.

She must have believe- Boy!!! What an ego!!!!

I put one hand on the side of my face and in a low voice I said - I’m also the biggest Bullshitter you have ever met....lol

She let out a little laugh and tapped me on my arm.

She meant- Of course you have to be a bullshitter to be a good blogger. They go hand in hand....lol...

Michaëlle Jean showed me she has a sense of humor.

I wasn’t expecting to meet her Royal Highness but it was a good thing because I found out she’s a good person.

Of course, a few told me- YOU TOLD THE GOVERNOR GENERAL WHAT????

Hey? I know we have a protocol and I gave Michaëlle Jean a good chuckle.

We are very well represented at that appointed position.

I had my pictures and it was raining. I decided to go home and blog the pictures.

I could have stayed and take some good pictures of Quebecois Dan Bussieres < I need some new ones! ..lol > but why bother? Let them enjoy themselves in peace.

IMG_7137_editedIMG_7130

I had my pictures and it was raining pretty hard. I went home....

I took many pictures. I will use them in a blog later on this week.
