I'm quite surprised that no one touched this one,Charlie it must confuse you at times,
You put something that is questionable and get tremendous response,You put something that is totally true!!!!!and no participation what-so-ever?????
The book cover tells it all!!!
That is exactly what this man's biography is all about total outright lies at a mindboggleing pace and no end in sight!!

Just look at his expression in that picture and tell me honestly that isn't the face of a man who is basicly in disbelief discomfort distraught disturbed dismayed disoriented dysfunctional disassembled distrusted disgraced disturbed and in the end DISMISSED.

He must be DISMISSED pronto. It is taking too long. He is disgusting.

I'm confused. What has he lied about exactly?

One of many stories. This one made national news.

Lord Lied

It’s nice to see that Canada’s Liberals don’t have a monopoly on lying out their asses. New Brunswick premier Bernard Lord just got caught red-handed in the middle of a whopper:

In his annual report on New Brunswick’s finances, Daryl Wilson said the government misled the public last November when it issued a news release claiming to have managed a $1 million surplus, despite difficult times.

“The books are closed for the last fiscal year, and the results prove that we managed well in spite of very difficult times,” Finance Minister Jeannot Volpe stated in the news release.

“The surplus is $1 million for 2002-2003.”

Wilson said that statement was incorrect.

In fact, he said, the province recorded a deficit of $109.4 million.
What the hell is wrong with Canada’s politicians that they feel they have the right to routinely lie to us about how they’re (mis)managing our finances? Lord barely squeaked through the last N.B. election and lying about the budget probably made the difference between a win and a loss. I wonder if New Brunswick has recall legislation? It looks like they could use it.

I’ll bet the Conservative Party of Canada is suddenly very happy not to have Lord in their federal leadership race right now, especially since they’re making “integrity” such a big issue in light of recent Liberal misfortunes.

"I wonder if New Brunswick has recall legislation? It looks like they could use it."
A good one. We do need recall legislation.

You don't want recall legislation. We'd have a costly election every six months. The public voted him in, they can vote him out in two years if they wish. That's democracy. Go to China if you don't like it.

Where are you from? Mars?? British Columbia has recall legislation. How many Premiers have been recalled there? Many states have recall legislation only California has used it so far. So your six months thingy is nonsense. Only Lord needs to be recalled because he so f***ing incometent and also an incorrigeable liar.

People shouldn't have voted him in then. Deal with it until 2007 and kick him out then. The people spoke and they wanted him, although barely, in 2003. That's how the system works. Welcome to Canada.

You stay on the Mars. Is British Columbia not in Canada? Is Californis in China? You must be new in this part of the world.

Move to BC or California then. The other potheads out there who don't like democracy will welcome you.

Anonymous said...

So you are the only pothead in New Brunswick who knows about democracy. Good for you. There were 20,000 hits on recallbernardlord.com site. They were all smarter than you.

Except there's 730,000 NBers not 20,000. Can't have an election everytime less than 3% of the population has a hissy fit.

Anonymous said...

Your head is covered by martian dust and you cannot see clearly. Even polls show that over 70% of NBers have no use for your hero Bernards Lord. You do the math.

Anonymous said...

Great. That's what elections are for. If NBers didn't want him, they shouldn't have voted him in. Have some respect for the democratic process. Sorry your party lost last time but you have to wait. Some website with 20,000 hits unrecognized by any official process means squat. Remember 22 Minutes trying to get Stockwell Day to change his name to Doris. Last I heard he was still going by Stockwell. A bunch of left-wing sourpusses looking for a splash in the media does not make the law.

Who is Liberal. It just your hero Bernard Lord who is screwing around. It does not matter that another P.C takes the leadership. Anyone will be an improvement. It does not matter you call Bernard, Doris or Barbie. He is just not cut out to be a leader. People are pissed with him.

He should go and play with his barbies and so should you.

Anyway I did some research on the "Lord Lies". It is written by antother Canadian. Do the search and you will find the article. It is all over the place on the net.

"...play with his barbies"????
If you don't like the guy that's fine, vote him out and quit your whining. Did you even bother to vote in the last election?

Anonymous said...

You started the Doris stuff. It was added that you may call him Barbie or he may go and play with his barbies and so should you. He does come across that immature.

Anonymous said...

Man, you need to learn to read. Doris was the old This Hour has 22 Minutes recall joke about STOCKWELL DAY. Were you under a rock when that was going on or just smoking too much weed?

Anonymous said...

Yeah! It was of course about Stockwell Day. What is your point smarty pants???
