Misinformed? Probably. A liar? I just don't see it. The last real and truly political lie I saw was in '93 when the federal Liberals "promised" to eliminate the GST. That's a lie and no matter how much spin you put on it, (HST in 3 provinces is not a promise kept.) it's still a lie. Anyone could see that the GST brought in far too much money for any government to turf it. They could have bee truthful with the public but it made for a good election campaign and paid off.

Lord is unfortunately for him surrounded by underperformers for the most part and gets bad advice far too often. On the flip side. Shawn Graham is the underperformer but he's surrounded by far better people than the Tories. I have no problem with Lord but his government leaves a bit to be desired. Before my anonymous friend gets personal again, that is of course my humble opinion.

Your just mad your party is in opposition

Shawn surounded by good people???? I believe that he could do better but it's not me to suggest? From what I seen? There could be a few changes that would help the Liberal Party.

2:57 PM you got it wrong again. Only party I go to are parties with friends over a beer or so. I do believe the person who says: L in Lord stands for liar, loser, and a leech. He has proven that time and again. Sad but true.

@:44, you make a couple of good points on the advisor side but when it comes to MLA's Lord gets what the people voted in. Graham has much deeper strength in his MLA's than Lord has in his. No wonder Lord wants Hooton in Cabinet. He doesn't have a whole lot to choose from although giving Houlder, Carr and Macdonald a shot wouldn't be a bad idea to see what they can do and move some of the deadweight like Dube, Steeves, and Poirier out. The Liberals have much deeper strength with their MLA's. If Graham were to quit tomorrow, there would be little problem in replacing him. If Lord were to quit tomorrow, there is no heir apparent.

Spinks:If you are talking about elected advisors then backbenchers do not matter. Ministers, a good leader will shuffle the cabinet in a jiffy. Lord is a coward and gutless. Rest are all excuses.

Hello New Brunswick politics:
You have some good posts but it is not possible to post because of that picture and characters. I made numerous attempts and it keeps giving me new characters. I agree with you on Booton, blond and legs.

Hi Anonymous at 5:19 pm. Charles pointed me to your post here. I have'nt had any other complaints about the verification. If it gives you another one it's usually because an error has been made while typing. However, I have removed it, and you can now post without the verification. As long as it causes no problems on the site i'll leave it that way.

PoliticsNB, thank you. May be it was my computer. I made no mistake in letters. More people visit more they may find it as a problem. I know there were complaints for the same on this site.

Lord has mislead, lied, deceived, turned his back on the people. LNG tax concession for billionaires, down graded St. Joseph Hospital, turn his back on Health care workers, Ormulson deal and I could go on but next, I'll have alist prepared. Give Hooten the Booten.

Yes Premier Lord says we can afford to pay more. Load everything on the average taxpayer and give billionaires a tax deal and freeze their taxes for 25 years.

Tried to verify Councillor Chris Titus expense to go to Germany, heard it was not going to cost the taxpayers nothing; they said Saint John Energy would cover the cost. Well unless ownership changed hands I believe the taxpayers pay for that too. It will be very interesting how much they spent going to China the Mayor said that is not important. It will be very important though when they ask the taxpayers for money when they need to pay for all of this. Dictatorship here in Saint John; how dare the taxpayers question the spending of money we don't have!
Great speech by Hooten who took the floor and no one was aloud to add anything after she gave her side of the story. She will be keeping her pay for now but clearly has her own agenda in mind and it is not or ever be for ordinary people. Open and clear that we need to give the Lord government the boot any way we can. Give Hooten nothing; she done nothing but smile and speeches and repeat "I want to be a voice for you". Give her the boot, vote.

I'm Rooton for Hooton

Hooton must be booton. Look how devious way Lord has orchestrated this by-election. He thinks he can fool anytime and every time. Especailly he thinks of Saint Johners as peasants, serfs and gullible. Do not let him fool you this time.

Anonymous said...

Hey let's give her a chance she hasn't even got there yet and you are doubting her.

Anonymous said...

Hooton will be booten not a chance.

Look what happen when we gave Lord the chance; she wants to be just like him. Give her a Booen now!
