I thought she represents herself. Just like Bernie it is all about Michelle Hooton and how she can get ahead. Did someone say narcissim? They both need treatment.

Someone asked me this morning if there is a possible phrase out there that you will NEVER hear from this Conservative Government.

Of course I replied:

That's too easy!

It would have to be,

Your Conserns Are Our Conserns.

Nice picture. Lord must want us to buy his new book. He is good at fooling people. It is about time that we the people wake up before any more of our rights are violated.

You people are all a bunch of "born losers" who are committed to yopurm cause", whick is toi recruit more losers. The city will not ever reach its potential because everytime someone like Hooten emerges who represents hope, enthusiasm, determination to succeed, and a firm conviction to do better, all you a..ho.es crawl out of your taxpayer funded caves to demand more handouts. If any of you had any real guts, you'd stop committing liable and get to know this wonderfully committed, selfless, community booster and stop this character assassination. The likes of Rick Mantle, Abel Leblanc, Charles LeBlanc, and all the other mean spirited character assasins should be marched into the town square and .....well at least held accountable for their loathsome behgaviour. The voters of the Harbour riding will not be hijacked by the likes of these who deserve to be living in the despot dominated likes of Iran. iraq, and North Korea.

Hey Mo, do you think you could at least act like an adult and knock off the slander?

To 9:26

You have some very nasty opinions of some very nice people!

You speak about this City reaching its potential! Be specific. What is your fantasy for this City.

I will tell you why this city will not reach its potential.

Let's start with the land potential. Where do you expect this city to expand. The downtown core is as big as it is going to get. There is nowhere to expand except to take out the Port. The people who live in the downtown core wouldn't even let a guy build a new apartment building because it might block their view of the harbour. Even though the guy was willing to make the building blend in with the surrounding architecture. They wouldn't even allow the Irvings to place a statue of their dear old Dad in the LOYALIST burial ground. Why not? He is dead isn't he? His father was from the OLD COUNTRY wasn't he? He wasss LOYAL to Saint John wasn't he?

Maybe we could expand to the East. No can do! Irving owns basically all the land from the Courtney Bay Causeway all the way out to the Red Head Road and beyond. Any lands left are basically worthless because nobody wants to live next to an LNG time bomb.

How about jobs? Everybody wines about the closing of the shipyard and Sugar Refinery. Someone just announced today another 350 incoming call center jobs. But then again most people claim these jobs aren't worth having. $10.50 to start sure beats $6.50 minimum wage. And this new outfit even has the audacity to offer benefits. Imagine. How insulting!

Environment. The people who run this city don't even have enough brains to realize that the creeks, streams, forests and beaches are what makes an attractive community.

Deforest! Strip! Bulldoze! Fill in those streams! Pave over those marshlands!

You might call me a Tree Hugger, but you would be wrong. I just don't believe in uncontrolled development. The laws are there but if you have money they will look the other way.

What about that great Irving job generation machine? It used to be you could be fired in Newfoundland and work in Saint John. Not anymore. They have a Human Resource Department that is better than the CIA. When you don't fit in with one company you don't fit in with any Irving Company. What nonsense! Pack you bags boy! Your moving West! With computers all linked you ain't working nowhere in Atlantic Canada or Maine for an Irving Company. And that probably goes for any of your offspring to!

You speak of North Korea. Do you realize that when you screw up in North Korea they kill you and 3 generations to eliminate the bad gene pool.

All these people you bad mouth are merely speaking up for DEMOCRACY.

We no longer have that in New Brunswick. What we have is the true life story on which the SIMPSON cartoons are based!

Please enlighten me as to your vision of this wonderous and prosperous Saint John Utopia of which you speak because at the moment, I don't see it!

Progress is more than a Cranberry Trail!

Truer words were never any clearer then Hooton and Lord in Irvings pocket. The courtship began before the LNG deal. Look into my eyes.

Again throw it in our faces; down size St. Joseph's Hospital and give Moncton more money; they have two hospitals. Saint John needs two but we will be lucky if we keep any sevices in SainT John. We have an area with the most pollution and will have more problems coming with more cuts coming. Give Hooten the Booten and Lord gets a hard two years of trying to prove he has taken us for royal down this path for the last time. Give Dr Doherty a chance. Next election give Graham a chance don't believe what the rag paper prints we are so deceived by the PC's and the news.
