Michelle Hooton is going to change Saint John Harbour, NB and the world if elected. Really??? That is how much voice she will have. It will be a disaster. We do not need Bernard Lord and his government if we want to survive and move ahead as a province. Time is now to send a strong message to Bernard Lord that we had it with him.
The way Hooton was reading Lord's sript at the debate, she is already muzzled. What more proof people need that voting for Hooton is like throwing away your vote.
Michelle (Chase) Doherty-Hooton knows exactly what she's doing. If she isn't elected Nov. 14th then she still has her position with the city. If she had any integrity or sense of morals, she would have stepped down as deputy mayor. Campaigning full time can only mean less time spent doing her job as deputy mayor & that means representing the city less!! Gee, I wonder where 'her' allegiances lie?
Under that pearly white veneer lies a person driven by how it benefits her so don't be mislead by biblical quotes, family value statements or anything else she 'reads' as it's all window dressing.
Sixteen months as deputy mayor is hardly sufficient ammo to think of becoming an MLA. We need a person with good business accumen who has dealt with the public in a major way, not someone who used to sell flowers or pasta. Someone who can think on their feet & not attack when the pressure is on. Perhaps Ms. Hooton needs a crash course in media training to keep her emotions neutral.
I wonder what her 'crystal ball'' is telling her these days!!
It's really a sad state of affairs when two minister resign in 3 months and one is muzzled with one on the way to the same fate if she even comes close to getting in which I doubt and even that will be a disaster as her credibility and career in politics will be down the flush either way at both levels it's a real shame she fell for this mans bullcrap.
Jumping ship is exactly what Hooton likes doing if it's in her best interest. Don't feel too bad, she does that in her private life as well (friends & family included)!
