God's minute!
Now Today's Message:
PRIDE GOES BEFORE DESTRUCTION, AND A HAUGHTY
SPIRIT BEFORE A FALL.
( PROVERBS 16:22 *NIV )
Dear Charles,
Now we are to humble ourselves, and not let our
pride or ego get in the way when dealing with others. For
it is written; WHOEVER EXALTS HIMSELF WILL BE
HUMBLED, AND WHOEVER HUMBLES HIMSELF WILL
BE EXALTED. ( MATTHEW 23:12 ) For; GOD
OPPOSES THE PROUD BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE
HUMBLE. ( JAMES 4:6 )
So never let your pride or ego convince you that you
are more righteous than another. Alter all, we are all God's
Children and He loves each of us equally! THEREFORE
LET US STOP PASSING JUDGMENT ON ONE
ANOTHER. INSTEAD, MAKE UP YOUR MIND NOT TO
PUT ANY STUMBLING BLOCK OR OBSTACLE IN YOUR
BROTHER'S WAY. ( ROMANS 14:13 )
Also remember the words of our Savior Jesus Christ,
for He said of the end time; MANY WHO ARE FIRST
WILL BE LAST, AND MANY WHO ARE LAST WILL BE
FIRST. ( MATTHEW 19:30 )
Therefore Charles, HUMBLE YOURSELVES BEFORE THE
LORD AND HE WILL LIFT YOU UP. ( JAMES 4:10 ) FOR
THE LORD TAKES DELIGHT IN HIS PEOPLE; HE CROWNS
THE HUMBLE WITH SALVATION. Amen.
( PSALM 149:4 )
Have a wonderful Monday, and may it be filled with peace
and love.
With My Love & Prayers,
your servant Allen

Thank you, Father Leblanc. You are taking God's name in vain along with your other crap in this blog.
Well? Don't bother coming in here....just don't visit. Why do you visit here anyway? Can you answer that question?
If you are determined to mess up your blog with this then go ahead, Father Leblanc.
Question? How would this little tiny blog mess it up? I don't understand? The verse is inside and not on the front blog!
Good question Charles. The blog is entitled God's Minute so it's pretty obvious what it is and is extremely easy to pass over. However, nothing stirs up passion like religion...well, maybe politics and there are plenty of people who would like to see Christianity in particulalr completely eradicated apparently even in an individual's blog. So much for freedom, huh?
Shhhhhhhh....quiet Spinks,,,,,don't get anyone going....shhhhh.....it's very quiet...go away Spinks......there's many other blogs in here you can comment on......It's like a Bomb in here ready to explode!!!...lol
Gee, person of the week one week and persona non grata the next. I can't win. LOL.
which reminds me? I haven't had a person of the week for a long while.....
Religion isn't my cup of tea, but it's certainly a free country.
I think what some people are commenting on is not so much their distaste at a religious post, but instead the dilution of your message. You yourself have on occasion asked people to keep discussions on topic.
I tend to agree that the religious posts dilute the focus needlessly of the point your blog is trying to make, but then again I don't read them anyway. But hey, it's your blog, so do with it what you want, but know that not all the detractors are anti-christian, anti-god, etc - some just prefer keeping it on topic and focussed.
Cheers,
J
This blog will focus on any issue the reader is interested in.....I have all kinds of different topics in here anyway.....
Religion does not belong here. I agree with J. Those who are commenting are not anti-religion or anti-Christ. It is totally out of place here. Then as J said do whatever you want. Some readers will give up because there is too much lack of focus.
If religion doesn't belong in a blog called God's minute where does it belong? Sounds like a pretty anti-Christian view to me. If that's your view, that's your choice but don't try to hide behind some kind of tolerance world view. Just say it offends you or you don't like it or skip it all together. This one is pretty easy to skip over if it offends.
By the way J, I picked up What's the matter with Kansas by Thomas Frank. I'll offer up some further analysis when I'm done. Early on it seems Frank believes the people of Kansas are generally stupid and easily led astray because they didn't support the Democrats. He sure doesn't give the people of Kansas much credit, does he? I'll be interested to discuss this one with you later.
Good luck Charlie if you wish to follow Spinks' advice.
Nietzsche said "God is dead and we killed him". I don't believe that for a milli-second but apparantly there are those who would like it that way and would like to kill free speech as well. I haven't seen one of Charles blogs have this much controversy in a while. I've heard the "readers will stop coming" line on this blog before but they keep coming back and the numbers continue to grow so there isn't much truth in that. Stay true to what you want to do Charles and don't give into those who would boss you around. Not that I expect you to anyway. LOL
"God is dead.." so you want to revive God. That means you are superior than God. What kind of reasoning is that. Lot of politics is discussed on this site. Religion and politics do not mix.
That was Nietzsche who said that, not me. Anyway there is no mixing of politics and religion. This particular blog is a seperate thread much like some of the other topics Charles raises from time to time which aren't politics. As Charles said near the top the solution for you if it offends you so greatly is far too easy "Don't bother coming in here....just don't visit."
One more time,,,just ignore the blog - God's minute.....is it that a difficult task to follow???? Just don't go in that blog. I will post one every day so get use to it!!!
Spinks, you leave the impression that God needs your help. That is very interesting. Pretty soon it will be Charles Leblanc and Spinks helping the God. What a distorted notion of God. God who created the universe suddenly is need of few mortals to promote His cause. You are taking religion to new ridiculous length.
G = GOOD
O = ORDERLY
D = DIRECTION
For those who don't believe in the Christian definition!
Higher Power so to speak.
Take a pill! Chill out! LOL.
7:09 -huh?! I never said that and neither did Charles.
I never promoted anything. I just paste the message I receive in my email.
Religious fanatics are distasteful in any religion Christianity included. This is no place to preach. I do not think God will be thrilled.
I haven't seen anything fanatical here. The postings are simply Bible verses.
