Keep in mind enrollment in universities is lower. May be there is decline in young population which might be contributing to. Child-bearing young people and people with young children are moving out of the province. Per capita rate may still be higher.
Note that 10,000 prescriptions filled does not means 10,000 children. Prescriptions usually jhave to be refilled, often every three months. So, we're talking about 2,500 children NB on Ritalin, not 10,000 and certainly not 48,000.
Instead of making these guesses why does Lord government not study the Ritalin issue. That way we will get accurate figures. Even few thousand children who end up with addiction and then get addicted to stronger and illegal drugs is a great loss. Even one child lost is a great loss.
I do not understand that why these anti-abortionist get so upset with abortion but children dying in this manner is ok. Does that mean that let a child be born then go ahead and kill him or her? Is that ok then? Come on now.
9:03, I'm not sure what you;re driving at. I don't know of anyone who is pro-life that has come out and said they're for killing children by drugging them. If you have heard that, perhaps you have a case but I've certainly never heard or read anything like that.

Gotta start somewhere. Is there more work to do? Sure, but if the numbers are going down, that's a good thing in my books.
