WOULD IT BE WISE OF BERNARD LORD TO SHOW UP FOR REMEMBRANCE DAY IN SAINT JOHN????

I believe that every Premier in each Province stays in the Capital on this emotional day? What do you think????

He should not show his face at memorial day, period. His government did sue veterans to claw back part of their disability pension to pay for their nursing home costs or that of their spouses'. How dare this man now play Mr. Nice guy on memorial day and that he cares. Hypocrit.

I mean remembrance day.

Please let Premier Lord know how you feel, give the vote to Dr. Doherty. Hooton will not serve the people only the wealthy people.

He's been known to go to other communities on Remembrance Day, mostly Moncton which is his riding although I believe he was in Miramichi one year. I stand to be corrected. There most likley are political underones to his trip but I don't see the big deal. Brewer and Graham shoudl be there too. I don't imagine he'll come across any protestors at the ceremony or at least I hope not. That would be in extremely bad taste.

It is in extremely bad taste that Bernard Lord is using Remembrance day for political purposes.

The treatment which veterans have received and are receiving from Lord government is shameful. Just read Ms. Ratchford and others letters to editor.

Pretty much everything politicians do is for political purpose. Frankly I'm surprise veterans wouldn't want the leader of the province to join them for the day. I would be very surprised if every single veteran doesn't want Lord there. I'm sure some do but I'm also sure others want him there. Their wishes should also be taken into consiseration. If Lord receives a letter signed by every single veteran or the majority that they don't want him there then he should stay home. Otherwise he should be allowed to attend without malice. He's their premier too.

It is sad the Lord will use Remembrance day for political purposes. Writing is on the wall that veterans have no use for him.

Is Lord the leader of the province? There is a dark shadow of doubt. It will not be very long that he is gone.

Lord government sued the veterans to squeeze money out of veterans for their care or their spouses care. Does that make him popular with veterans. Got to be kidding.

Michelle Hooton will not win. She represents everyting what Lord is and that is not acceptable.

It appears that it is this post that is using Remembrance Day "for its own purposes".

All those letters to editor spelling out the mistreatment of vets are wrong 8:08 AM? Or they? It needs to be pointed out what is going on. We cannot remain silent on such flagrant injustices.

By going to Saint John on Remembrance Day Bernard Lord will hurt Hooton's campaign. He should realize by now how unpopular he is in Saint John and especially in Saint John Harbour. He should hide until the byelction is over if he wants his candidate to win, and chances of that happening are few and far between.

This question begs to be asked. To the same people who don't think Lord should attend the ceremony, would you have a problem with Shawn Graham or Allison Brewer showing up to the ceremony?

Lord government sued veterans to claw back their disability pension. Vets continue to be treated poorly under Lord government. He has no moral justification to attend such a ceremony and promote himself and his political objectives.

So again the question is, Is there a problem with Graham or Brewer going?

It is an hypothetical question. Are they?
First find that out.

Will Premier make an announcement tomorrow at the ceremony. Being the year of the veterans maybe the Mayor will let Hooton take the glory. Don't make us sick.

Give Hooton the Booton.
