GOD'S MINUTE!!!

THERE SHALL COME FORTH A ROD FROM THE STEM OF
JESSE,* AND A BRANCH SHALL GROW OUT OF HIS
ROOTS. THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD SHALL REST UPON
HIM, THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING, THE
SPIRIT OF COUNSEL AND MIGHT, THE SPIRIT OF
KNOWLEDGE AND OF THE FEAR OF THE LORD.
( ISAIAH 11:1-2 *NKJV )

THEREFORE THE LORD HIMSELF WILL GIVE YOU A
SIGN: BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL CONCEIVE AN
BEAR A SON, AND SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL.
( ISAIAH 7:14 ) Note the name "Immanuel," In Hebrew
means "God With Us."

Charles, those were the words of the Prophet Isaiah,
predicting the Birth of Jesus Christ approximately 700
years before He was Born! These verses are just two of
many verses that spoke of Christ's Birth in the Old Testament.
. These prophesies, of course, were fulfilled with the Birth
of our Savior.

The Apostle Paul, speaking of Christ's Birth wrote,
WHICH HE PROMISED BEFORE THROUGH HIS
PROPHETS IN THE HOLY SCRIPTURES, CONCERNING
HIS SON JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD, WHO WAS BORN
OF THE SEED OF DAVID ACCORDING TO THE FLESH,
AND DECLARED TO BE THE SON OF GOD WITH POWER
ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT OF HOLINESS, BY THE
RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD. ( ROMANS 1:2-4 )

So Charles, try not to get caught up in the hustle
bustle of the season, which is easy to do with Santa Claus,
Christmas Trees and Presents. Always keep in mind that
Christmas really stands for the Birth of our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ and His great gifts to us, including the
Forgiveness of our sins and Eternal Life as well. Amen.

Now Charles, I would like to wish you a Very Merry
Christmas, and A Wonderful New Year! May all of your
hopes and dreams come true in the coming year!
