Lately, I have been hearing a lot of names who's going to run for the Liberal Party. I heard the name Bruce Court? What do you think?

Its not a surprise to me. Bruce court has been using the LNG fiasco as a platform too blow his horn for either himself or his brother Ivan.Him for the Libs,Ivan for mayor.
I do believe, in my own opinion that, he and his brother Ivan have distorted the whole Michelle Hooton thing.
I think in my own opinion they have Michelle dubbed as a traitor to the citizens of Saint John.
They have been hammering that one home for a long time.
If you look at the minutes of the council meetings,Michelle Hooton Voted against the way the LNG tax deal was struck.She wanted to see transparency and open session.The Court boys quickly used their own propoganda to convince the people that she was for the deal.I think that they are intimidated by her.She is smart and she has infultrated a boys club and became deputy her first time round.The boys didn't like it.
I think those guys are far from the knights in shining armour that they want you to believe.Its all posturing and political grandstand.
Once they get in they wont be any different than anyone else.They may be the next ones looking into Irving's eyes. There are no more knights.Everyone in this town has an agenda.
Have you just been under a "Rock". Transparency is not what the Mayor and Councillors got after the "Look into my eyes" behind closed doors. She had a speech prepared so no one not even Councillor Court could ask questions. No one will ever convince the people of Saint John that they had the best interest of the people just the "Billionaires".
Hooton got what was well deserved; sorry you fell for her acting. By the time we do get the Mayor and most Councillors out it will take decades to even begin to correct the wrongs made public but who knows what else has been done.
Propoganda is not from Bruce or Councillor Court but from the Irving Empire and their friends. Just read all their papers and listen to their news spin ,whether on the TV or radio.
Also Premier Lord and friends need to go. Lord said believes users must pay. If that was true then the billionaires would pay and this area would prosper.
It is not the case Lord gives thenm tax concessions, grants, low interest loans and honestly they don't probably get charged for many things. When most of us build near the water we are stopped because we could pollute the water; explain the little expansions at the pulp mills, oil refineries, Oean Steel and many more exceptions. They pollute more then any one else and use more water and power.
If they purchased building permits, and paid for all they use and stopped the gouging and special deals we the people here would not have to struggle subsidizing and would have a better life. The Irving Empire has more power then our politicians and an investigation needs to take place. Corruption is what our area and province and country is at right now.
I always believe what I was told but nolonger. We have good people deported and the criminial are allowed to stay.
Taxes are paid by some taxpayers. Then to make it worse the money collected is spent on themselves which is theft and no one is punnished. Big crime which what this is go unpunnished and smaller crime gets the time in jail and in the courts. Something is wrong with the whole system.
People in power should be accountable to the taxpayers but no way. They are not approachable and most of the the time they don't care and they have their own agenda. Just try to call, email or write and you will see that this is the truth.
LNG deal was not the fault of the people of Saint John or the Courts.

They would not let anyone else speak; Michelle rescinded but Ivan wanted too so he could find a way to get answer to questions that all of us wanted. This was all staged and the Act 1 was before the mayor and six councillors ran together so when a vote had to be made on serious matters the group would all vote together. Believe it or not it is the trurth. Sickening but the Irving Empire have been involved from the start.

What is it when you have the premier who can pass a law to give Billionaires the right not to pay their taxes and have special deals?
Our municipal tax dollars are limited and all the people are struggling and suffering; middle class right down to the very poor and homeless!
Great if Bruce runs we need someone who does understand that we here in Saint John can't take the Lord government anymore. Disgraceful how he harps about users paying but the biggest user gets tax concessions.
Bruce Court is a city wrecker and he should be thrown into jail. those who destroy others property, threaten people, and use the poor for their own political purposes should be thrown out of Saint John. what a jerk Bruce is.
