I was told that someone watered the flowers at 2:00am and everything was fine. Afterwards, I guess some youths destroyed all the flowers.
I'm told that someone tried to save the flowers during the night but it was too late.
It's getting bad out there.

How do you know it was youths? Did you see them? It could have been a drunk, it could have been anybody.
It wasn't a very nice thing to do who ever it was.
