I am sorry to say but you should have seen it coming. You were becoming a nuisance and many cannot visit without being accosted by you. You have been rude to many people including elected officials. My suggestion will be apologized unconditionally and give absolute assurance that you will behave. Even then I will doubt though because the patience of people have run out. This does not look like government decision. It looks like one of those unanimous decisions.
You have to be kidding Charles. What are they thinking? Are you getting too close to something that they don't want the public to know? This letter looks like something Maurice would write. Does Maurice have a brother working in the house?
I noticed your paper wasn't signed by anyone Charles. Are they ashamed to sign it? And so they should be. They don't want you to know who was responsible for this.
Anybody who has followed Charles blog knows that this is bullshit. THis is third world dictatorship talking. It's like the falun gong in China and I'm ashamed of New Brunswick. I'm ashamed of the liberals for not standing up for you when you pretty much won the election.
Being a 'nuisance' is NOT illegal. It is what reporters are supposed to be, but aren't. This should be taken immediately to the ombudsman and the press gallery.
It is quite obvious that the whole reason this has happened is because of the CBC interview. They know the public wants you to attend press conferences, so they want to avoid that as much as possible, hence the 'nuisance' claim. Then, if it goes to the press gallery then they can just claim "well, its not our problem, the sergeant at arms won't let him in". I say we take this national to the CBC.
You left Saint John for a reason, now, evidently, your name is "mud" in Fredericton, all I can ask is "When will you be moving to Moncton"?? I wonder what all those people that come on here and think you are so perfect will have to say now? Oh they'll say the government is wrong and you're right, I suppose. Yeah, right.
Like most folks here I don't get to see Charles in action at the legislation so I'm not sure what he's done to warrant this. It's an odd thing for a legislative committee to do (has it even been done before?), however as one writer pointed out, it's probably worth it Charles to go talk to them and see what you need to do to have the decree reversed. If the conditions are acceptable, do it. If not stay on the sidewalk I guess. It's a public place so I don't know how enforceable it is. Since I'm certain a few of the politicians and legislature staff are reading this can anyone offer an anonymous comment on this?
Spinks, by his own admission he shouts at MLAs. He shouted "racist" to the Minister of Environment. He has stated many times that he likes brawls. He was told not to bring camera inside but he kept doing that. I think people showed lot of patience but there is a limit to it.
As said, the liberals were outnumbered on the committee, but honestly, how often have you heard any politician defend Charles?
What's scary is that New Brunswickers simply don't care. There's no doubt that Charles is a nuisance to politicians. But honestly, is 'freedom' really only for those who never exercise it? It's those that rock the boat who are the ones who are supposed to be protected, otherwise, hate to say it, but you have 'old germany' all over again. I've got news for you, Nazi's didn't come after those who towed the line and asked no questions.
Two points, correct me if I'm wrong, but if that notice isn't signed then it's not binding. You can't enforce a contract without a signature.
And for New Brunswickers, if Charles goes to prison for obstruction at his court date, I wonder where people will go to find out what's going on, or as some do, for entertainment and shooting off their mouths.
New Brunswick will once again be nice and quiet and citizens will go around saying 'remember that guy who actually used to talk about politics'. And they can go back to Irving and Rogers for their 'news'.
10:25 - Don't worry. There's no way that he'll be given a jail sentence. He'll get a "Bad boy, don't do that again, be good, move along now." and be given probation.
Where's the line that distinguishes acceptable behaviour from unacceptable behaviour? Screaming slander at people is acceptable behaviour? Would you put up with it if you had a way to stop it? If a woman was being emotionally/verbally abused by a man, would you be defending that man's rights to express himself as he wishes regardless of the woman's rights?
As for the contract. It is a notice, not a contract since it is labeled as such and there are not two signing parties.
Lets get one more issue straight. I never shouted slander at anyone in the Legislature or on the ground. This was all done outside of the Legislature on the streets. What's next? Banning me from the City???
Good for you Charles, I'm glad you have a lawyer and I hope you show these people that you mean business. Don't take any bull from anyone. You have rights just like the rest of us. As for the house, they don't know what the he*l their doing, couldn't even sign the proper papers they gave you. And this is the peoples house. I don't think so.

To be honest, I'm surprised it took them this long. You really should have seen it coming.
