I thought Charles was on top of the news.
There was a murder in Saint John on Saturday. Some middle-aged man on Union Street is dead. The suspect will be in court today, yes Sunday.
I had to get this info off the Sunday news on CFBC with Rick Mantle.
There hasn't been a murder in Saint John for some time.
I can't believe they're opening the courts today for this one.
I'd like to hear from readers who know more about this.
I've lived in Saint John all my life. Most faces are familiar to me.
This has made me nervous and sick as I am a senior and I live right near Union Street.

Good lord Man (or woman) Charles is in Fredericton and doesn't get paid. Is he supposed to know everything. Get out there and investigate and post the information, Charles will give it top billing I guarantee. If it has gone downhill, well, crank it up a notch. It has been a long time since people were snatched off the streets or out of taverns and forced into slavery,piracy,or to fight in wars.
People freely sign up,and are fully aware of their duties.

Announcing every death as if it were special is what the cut and run NDP would have us do so that the people are scared and say get out inspite of the consequences.

The deaths under the despots of the middle east don't matter? I guess you have no interest in the non-white world.
Somebody's logic is backwards, by going over and killing non whites its pretty hard to say you are protecting non whites. Of course its no surprise many people don't care whether canadians live or die, they aren't personally involved. So here's a thought, only send over those who believe so strongly canadians should be there. Perhaps then they might think twice.
Signing up for military duty is exactly that for many- a duty. People join the military expecting to protect their country, not die in some attempt to protect american oil pipelines.
I'm glad our troops are doing something. Most of them probably signed up never thinking they'd go to war. Surprise! You have to earn your pay now!!
