I think CBC has a few issues they want to "iron" out when it comes to blogging first. I found Poitras' blog got better as time went on however he was also being asked to report for radio at the same time as he was monitoring the blog. That's too much and they need a better system. Given the changes Rabinovitch announce yesterday for CBC, I doubt the blog will return anytime soon except for a special event.
