GOOD POINT FROM A READER!!!!!
What about our Veterans? It has come to my attention that if a patient at Ridgewood Veteran's Wing in Saint John requires I.V. Therapy there is no nursing staff qualified to start this therapy, and they must be transferred to the Regional Hospital. I know of one gentleman who because of congestive heart failure he has developed pneumonia, and almost died. In order to receive treatment he had to be transferred over to the Regional. Why then do we even have a Veteran's Wing at all if treatment for such things is not available, or are they just sent there to die as quickly as possible so a bed can be freed up?

Elvy wants more and more free beds. He thinks patients are occupying them uneccessarily. In case of veterans it is more heart breaking. Smart Elvy is forgetting the sacrifices these people have made for our freedom. Now Lord government, through its policies, cannot wait for their death so that they can have more spare beds or they can cut more beds. It is not only sad it is highly unethical and criminal in ethical sense.
