For the record Charles, I wish our Troop's were all Back Home.

This is meant solely as a Morale Booster for all of Canada's Troops.

Bad accident happened in Edmundston this morning, apparently, a women
drove
onto the highway from a Bi-road and was struck by a Transport Truck.
The
girl was killed instantly. There should not be any bi-roads in this
day
and age. You do not see any in the States do we. We are way behind
the
times and that is killing inocent people and also its making the poor
worker who could not control that accident feel the pain of this person
dying because she drove into his truck, and I am sure he will feel for
her
and the family for the rest of his life. How say when something can be
done about these kinds of accidents and nothing is.

I also will state for the record that I don't believe that our Brave Men and Women in Uniform are really making a difference in a Muslim Nation that does not hagve the same respect for life that we do. My concern is this. What will happen when the Troops come back home, and sooner or later, they will all have to return home. Will the peace be maintained, or will the Muslim Sharia Law re-asert itself and cause things to go back to the way it was before our tropps and the rest of the coalition were sent there to help the Citizens of both Afgansistan, and Iraq. How many more brave men and women are going to have to looose their lives before we finally realize that we are not just fighting terrorism, we are fighting a religious evil.

I love our men and women in the Military and I hope and pray that the Protection of God be with them and those they are trying to help. I too want them home safe and sound with their families who are worrying, and praying for their safe return.

to add one more item I also appreciate that Mr. Harper made the long and difficult trip to Afganistan to support our troops and also speak with the President of that Country. I believe that we have a good and decent Prime Minister. This is the first time in recent years that a Canadian Prime Minister has made this kind of a visit. Hopefully Canada will be able to become an influential player on the World stage.

Harper is anything but decent Prime Minister. He is puppet to Bush. He followed Bush's footsteps as Bush visited Iraq.

All we need is a puppet as a prime minister then we got it made. Another state of U.S.

Sending a postcard is so lame. If I mail the troops pornography, Hustler magazine for example, would they receive it or would it be seized by an official not wanting to offend the Afghani sensibilities or perhaps looking to take it for himself?

11:50-Am

The chap's site doesn't state you have to send a Post Card, A letter to any troop is greatly appreciated.

I know, from when I was over in Bosnia in 93.

This is so typical of some you New Brunswicker's, somebody tries to do something of a positive nature, and all some people like you 11:50-Am can do if find something to complain about.

Have an extra helping of Dumb at suppertime why don't you. Your probably too full to stuff anymore of it into you.

But give it your best shot.
