I think that if he decides to go, he should use all of his influence to ensure that Tanker Malley gets a job since he lost out on his pension by not being re-elected!
It's obvious that there was mutual respect and admiration between these two performers and Bernard should look out for Tanker like he did for Kim Jardine when she lost the last election and was given a handsome paying job with NB Power.

He's probably not going to win another election to become premier, so he should go. He's probably just waiting for the right opportunity to open up.
