Why should you not like that?

Our government does worse things to the people in NB and we don't even hold them to be accountable and we don't stand up for our neighbours who are affected. Shame on us who do nothing when people have their lives torn.

No one is perfect and standing up for what you believe is the right thing to do is better than turning your back and walking away!

He will rest in peace! Our politicians here need to have more character and accountability!

I heard of President Ford and that the was a Man of Integrety and Conscience, and decency. He came to the White House not seeking that office it sought him. and even though, he was not in that office for what we would see as a regular term. he accomplished much. one was the Presidential Pardon for Nixon, which is probably the most well known.

I pray for his Family at this most difficult time, May President Ford Rest in Peace!

To accept a Pardon personally under United States Protocol is to accept that you are Guilty. President Ford knew that and so did Nixon. It was the average Yank that did not understand how a Pardon works.
Prisoners in Canada even if not guilty of the offence they are incarcerated for will admit guilt to that crime to get out of jail earlier.
They can then apply for a pardon. To be pardoned from a crime they never committed but were incarcerated for none the less.
Pardon me but that is life.
