This afternoon while waiting for someone. This guy approached me and said that he reads my blog every day.

He went way back when I first wrote a column in the Irving’s paper. <>. It was about ADHD and he learned that he has ADHD.

He’s taking Ritalin.

His name is Dana and he’s a driver for Fredericton Transit.

We soon found out that we have a lot in common. Especially our way of thinking.

I won’t go into the details but it was interesting and unfortunately I did most of the talking. <> lol

I invited the guy to share his views in this blog so stay tuned!!!

Ohhhh? The apology???

He did indeed apologized for reading the CNN website before he reads my blog...lol . . .

I said it before and I will say it again????

God knows who reads this blog?

Ok Chuck,
Once and for all, can you tell us how much of an idiot you really are? I do not know why you call yourself a "blogger", this has to be the ugliest looking website ever. All you have are YOUR issues, and no one really cares about them, this is why you cannot get any face time with any of the politicians, YOUR issues just do not matter. Where would you be without your issues? You need to stop using them as crutches and actually make an effort to do something for yourself. You know, you are not the only person in this province who has personal issues because of health, family, money or whatever else, but despite this, they suck it up, get on with their day and try to contribute to society. I have ADHD; I take my Ritalin everyday, should I quit my job and go whining to the government full time? The bus driver didn't. People are going to run out of pity for you soon. I mean what is your job really. You take the handouts and then turn around to bite the hand that feeds you? You talk a lot of hot air, and criticize a lot of other people for what they are trying to do to make a difference, but I don't think I have seen any positive constructive words or actions coming from you that actually make a difference. If you call yourself, a “political activist” then run for politics. Then you will be able to have you point of view heard democratically. What you are trying to do is hijack the entire process and have your own selfish interests put ahead of everything else. I suppose that since you have alienated just about every segment of society in this province, you would probably have a hard time garnering any votes. Have you ever thought about how many tax dollars it costs to have “Charlie patrol” at the legislature. Anyway, that is enough for now. I am not sure it was worth wasting my time on this. I am hoping you will fade away to nothing soon and we will not hear from you anymore. I hope you post this; looking at the comments, I think this is an “issue that concerns New Brunswickers”.

anon 423, it is easy for you to be critical safe behind the mask of anonimity. it seems strange to me that you have so much passion about what somebody else has chosen to do with their own life. can you explain this? and, by the way, this is a blog . .aka a personal journal. . . it is charles' forum to express whatever he wants to express. goodness knows i do not always agree with him, but i respect his freedom of speach. you have the choice to not visit the site. if you are so enraged by what you see here, let me offer you some advice . . .don't come back.

It seems you have hijacked this site for your own use? Without this forum or blog the average person wouldnt have a place to voice a concern wich is just what this site is doing, and a fine job at that.
I do think charles is trying to hijack anything our politicians already have that corner to themselves and wont let anybody else play.

Keep taking your legal version of meth amphetamine(ritalin)does great things for the mind and the heart or do you research what exactly you are taking.

4:23 pm, you sure do complain a lot about the site for a person that dosen't like it. I sure wouldn't want you reading MY diary, that is basically what this is, it is Mr. LeBlanc's personal Diary, and he is giving us all access to it as a favour or gift to us, whatever way you want to put it.
You say you don't want to waste your time on here, well, why are you then???
And if the website is ugly (your view) why do you even bother?
Why don't you complain to someone who might help you change the "problems" you see in this life, such as your mother or your wife, etc.

I think that says a lot about charles that after that nasty letter he gets most offended by 'chuck':)

Perhaps this guy just sees the pictures and thinks that maybe Charles enjoys what he's doing too much. He's supposed to 'suck it up', in other words, live a miserable little life and don't complain publicly. He should run a little blog that just describes what he had for breakfast and leave the world alone.

Thank God Charles doesn't do that! For our above poster Charles almost single handedly got roomers and boarders included in the Residential Act. No, its still not perfect, but how many people in this country can make the claim that they were instrumental in granting an entire class basic human rights that were previously denied? Not too bloody many.

Charles knows that, but he's been through so much since that I thought I'd remind him. That's more than any politician has done for the poor in the history of this province. It was those politicians who of course kept them from getting those rights.

But that was by getting politically active, not by protests. The lesson the RDA taught was that people have to get more involved with politics.

Anon 4:23, isn't a blog about the issue the blogger cares about? Charles and I don't agree all that often but I respect its his blog and he can pretty much write what he wants (although sometimes he should tone it down a notch but that's my opinion). If there are issues you'd prefer to raise, start your own blog. It's free.

I get a kick out of all the readers that go to the trouble of coming on Mr. LeBlanc's blog here and then do nothing but run it down. "Spinks" has used the blog to make a name for himself and his own blog, thereby gaining popularity to a degree.
In my view, we are all priviledged to be able to come on here and view this blog of Mr. LeBlanc's which he dosen't have to share with the public, but does. Keep up the good work, Mr. LeBlanc, it's a labour of love, to be sure, check my IP address, I am a guest at the Hilton Hotel in Saint John, I am an out-of towner from Toronto, but I read and enjoy your blog regularly, and I hope you stick with it.

"If you call yourself, a “political activist” then run for politics. Then you will be able to have you point of view heard democratically." -
Who said that to have an active and valid role in the democratic political process you actually had to run for political office?? Kind of defeats the whole purpose of democracy? Are you saying that only politicians have a right to voice opinions on political issues? And as for a democratic voice, Charles' blog is probably one of the most powerful - Anyone can read it, anyone can comment... pretty democratic to me. But then by your insinuation plolitics would be best done in closed cabinet meetings or even a decision made by one man without consultation... of course that hasn't happened in this province...

It is Charles's blog and considered as a diary for some, but Internet is public. Charles's blog isn't the only one where people reply on what the owner of the blog says. And why can't people comment on the content? Charles comments on everybody else, doesn't he? If he can slanders people, I think people can reply back. Isn't that democracy? Isn't it something Charles and others plead for every day here? The other thing is that the people who are criticizing people for hiding behind the anonymous wall are themselves hiding behind the same wall... Thanks.

They can reply back, within reason. The internet is public, but Charles blog isn't public, its his private blog and he can do what he wants. He was good enough to post nasty comments like the above, which is a hell of a lot more than Irving will ever do, so thanks for proving how bad Irvings are a danger to democracy.

Meanwhile, people are free to comment on Charles content, and people are also free to comment on the comments.
