I know many of you readers have never left this province.

Can you imagine living down the Southern States all year round???

The bugs and insects flying around all the time?

Sure would be depressing!!!

You would see the same sites all the time but not here in New Brunswick, Canada!!!

Think about it? You would see the waters of the Saint John River all year.

Sure would be boring.

Spring arrives, the birds are back and life begins.

If you’re down to the dumps?

Spring with the many changes of sceneries will make you pick up the pace.

We will enjoy the strong winds of summer.

Yes, New Brunswick < especially Fredericton > is the best place to live in the Western Hemisphere.

The ice from the Saint John River will soon disappear and happy days will be back again!!!

Someone emailed me this poem

An antidote to any feeling of homesickness in a wayward New Brunswicker.

Poem on New Brunswick Winter

When it's winter time in New Brunswick ,

And the gentle breezes blow,

About seventy miles an hour,

And it's fifty-two below.

You can tell you're in New Brunswick,

Cause the snow's up to your butt,

And you take a breath of Winter air,

And your nose holes both freeze shut.

The weather here is wonderful,

So I guess I'll hang around,

I could NEVER leave New Brunswick,

My feet are frozen to the ground!

In the hot states, well at least California and Florida there are no bugs and yes the trees loose their leaves but grow them back a few weeks later. And it does get colder in the winter months, but not as cold as here in NB

Having grown up in the Southern States, mostly Florida, I might have to disagree with you on that!

NB is a very Beautiful place indeed!

But, Having traveled 50 states and most of Canada, I would have to say that NB, would end up in the low 20% range.... when it comes to beauty!

The West coast, is spectacular, of course.

But, If I were to judge between Florida and New Brunswick, when it comes to living (governments aside...as we all know that there is no comparison between an idiot like Jeb vs Shawn... Can't say the same about Steven and George... 2 peas in a pod!)I would think that Florida is a wonderful place to visit and I can say it is hardly anything but depressing.

As for the bugs.... I think the mosquitoes can get just as bad up here in certain areas.

Lovebugs are a pain in the ass to clean off your vehicle's windshield.... but at least you would not be getting bit by black flies while you clean your windows ;)
