The Mayor and those who pull his strings do not intend to let anything stop them. The wheels are in motion to change
legislation to once again accommodate the Irvings. Here we go again. Special legislation for the City of Saint John. Remember the LNG tax deal?

To accomplish their devious ends, a private members' bill must be passed in the legislature. You can bet your last loonie that the legislation is already drafted and ready to go.

THAT'S WHERE WE COME IN.

Yeah, change those damn laws to suit Irvings already. Hey, can I get the law changed so I can build a barbecue hut in the middle of the local golf course? Why not? It seems anything goes.

The "Pathetic Fool" is you who cracks jokes and make light.
Whether it will or has always been a back room deal is not the point. When things are not right people should speak out. Sorry but you won't be working, just a select few. Too bad you fall for the stories you hear. No one is against work but through our city and park is wrong. Quality of life for all people could have happen with a pipeline in the Bay.

We should of receive tax dollars not give the tax away. Other benefits should have been made for our city for 25 years. We don't have a high opinion of our people here and our health.

The fool is you! Our politicians and our Mayor too. Yes the will change laws to allow Irving and his friends to do as they want. Is it right? NO! We the people here don't have our rights protected. Disgusting and yes you will get what you want so don't complain later when life for you has not gotten any better. We tired to open peoples eyes and get people to ask questions. Be gullible because that is why we are stuggling and the one family who we give all resources to have it all.

oh i will be working alright.i am all lined up to go to work actually. it will do my heart good to start digging through that crappy piece of land some call a park.it is a dump.will look much better with a nice fresh track all dug up and a beautiful high pressure gas line buried there. maybe we should get a logging company in there also.then we could use the land for something usedfull insted of a place for gay people to meet after dark and dogs to crap at.

This Park is not not a crappy piece of Land it could be the best resource we have in the middle of our city and surrounding areas. Not many cities in our provinces are to be so lucky to have the woods, water and so much more {who knows what else} right in the heart of our city. It does filter a lot of the pollution for now. No matter what an open minded person like yourself has to say; (just kidding of course)you don't care about our city or anyone else. If someone would manage our resources and tax dollars better; we could have a park with so much more then a pipeline. Sorry you have such a sick mind and our city politicians want dog crap and people like you.

I love our city and if people who had a vision and the money could step up and make a difference like Mr Miller in Rothesay; we would see that we have so much more then giving to the Billionaires. No one ever said they don't help but they take more then then help. Through the years we allow them to own all the land surrounding our lakes, rivers and bay. Crown land and all wood and forests and water for them to use as they want. Soon you and and everyone will be struggling for water because they will soon not have enough for big business so we will have pay more then we can afford and they will use all they want. Great deal for them who cares for families we need water to wash or drink. GREED at it's best!

We could have it all a small Disney World Park with all the Land and a growing Zoo and all that land and a Golf Course that could also grow with that land and in between a Fantasy Park but NOOOOOOOOOOOO; we get people who rather we have a gasline to help United States and ruin our air, water and land--- and our Health seems to not be a concern either for us or our children. Go out to the Bay and spend your Billions so you and only you can gain at our cities expense in so many ways.

No matter what caring people do; there are people who will never understand the real issues.

Saint John has a chance to do so much better.

I agree we do have the best piece of land and water; acres that could be so much more. It amazes me as they talk about saving building that are decaying from the inside out and want to poor the money into them.

We have a GEM in the Heart of our City and no one cares. The more educated the people are especially the wealthy should understand but no one speaks out.

Why don't they; because if you dare you could lose all connections to further wealth. Honestly no one who has the power and knowledge has done the right thing yet. Shame on them! No Lawyer, Doctor or high power people would give up their practice to speak up for our rights and that is what it would cost for them and their family. Look what they do the average people who speak out. Shame on them. Thank you to people who care.
