I received this email and the reader has a good point because while I was working for the Irvings? They used all the debris from the old Cenracare building and trsnsported the garbage across the street at 2:00am to dumped it in the Saint John River.

A Shediac man has pleaded guilty to violating the province's clean
water act
. Gilles LeBlanc was charged with altering a wetland without a permit.
In December of 2003, inspectors found he had begun to fill in a wetland
on
his father's property in Cap Brule. LeBlanc was ordered to stop the
work and
submit a plan by a wetland specialist for restoration of the damaged
area.
The work was completed in 2004. His father was also required to
transfer
ownership of some adjacent wetland to the province.
LeBlanc was fined $5000.

just a quick comment concerning the control irving has. a few years ago he had a stop work order put in place because he was filling in valuable flood plain and wetland behind midland trucks off bayside drive commonly known as the marsh creek floodplain. well things have obviously changed. he is filling in and leveling at a tremendous clip with lot of heavey equipment.who gave permission? who issued permits? i wonder what elsie wayne will say about her glorious irvings when her basement floods at glen falls? thanks for the space to voice my concern.
It is no surprise the irvings are doing atrocities to nature seemingly when it suits them, that's just a given 24/7.
It is such a good thing for all of us that really do care, for you Charles to continue to speak the truth about double standards and forked tongues.
One doesn't have to wonder these days if workers from the "inside" cometh forth with confidential info...there are certain inside workers who seem to be chomping at the bit to tell "someone anyone whom they can trust" the injustices against nature and man, what they have seen and heard.
The irvings are no doubt having a hard time keeping a continuous positive spin on all the negative truth stuff coming out for the whole world to see.
They seem to have placed themselves in position to fall and fall they will.
Remember the rhyme that has served many a hard lesson to all who become adults on this earth, the oh so true verse "the bigger they are the harder they fall"....that they have tarnished themselves and how,,,let the ways be counted, start with the past 6 month timeframe, you may find you will need more than your 10 fingers, according to accountable world news articles.
The enormous amount of greed that they openly display makes one wonder just what size penance this now infamous empire has coming to them.
We all know about the proven fact that greed turns on itself eventually, objectively, it appears to already be in motion.
Based on their public display of pompous arrogance, it probably will take longer for them to realize that it looks like they've unknowingly chosen the scorned path which eventually will turn into doomed-dom, how can it not?
Just like the election campaign, pompous arrogant people just don't see the signs that say STOP!
You are making foolish mistakes and you will be laughed at, sneered at even more...yet they will probably keep plowing through anyway.
The true image of irving as a whole is chronicled wide spread from esteemed reporting paper vehicles such as; Oil Daily in Washington ,,, Financial Post U.S. and the Globe & Mail from T.O., and one article even from the middle east to name a scant few based on web searches.
It's becoming more exposed just how they greedily accumulate their riches without a second thought for human health other than their own and the appalling disregard for the earth itself, it's natural beauty, what it may mean to someone else is wholly missing and many of the articles clearly support this.
This is not an intended trash irving letter, it's a summation of what's reported by big name media.
Keep up the good work Charles, keep those truth only articles coming. If a real honest to goodness newspaper is created here maybe you could do some sleuth reporting.... you are important to many communities and you will reap what you sow and it will be good.

The Irvings can do whatever they want because they have the power. Power is everything in this day and age.
I don't care if you get flooded out, why should that be my worry. Buy yourself a boat and place it in your basement, and buy yourself a sump pump, or if need be, establish a bucket brigade.
And as far a marsh creek goes, that sweat smell is the Smell of progress. Leave if you don't like it. I go fishing there all the time.
But all I ever catch are complainers like all you, who have nothing but negative things to say about the Irvings. Mr.Man I'm here to tell ya.
Saint John wouldn't be what it is today if it wasn't for the Great Irving Empire.
And what atrocities are the Irvings supposedly doing. Pollution happens and takes place day in and day out. We might as well get part of the action.

I just spent 3 hours at the hospital with my daughter. She may lose her baby. 50 / 50 chance!
There were also 3 other young women going through the exact same agony at the exact same time! 4 at the same time! This ain't Toronto folks! These are pretty shit*y odds for a Sunday evening.
She tells me that Saint John has one of if not the highest miscarriage rates in Canada! With the air quality in this city I'm not surprised.
Keep up the jokes folks! Maybe when 1 of your daughters miscarries or one of you kids dies from an asthma attack you can think back to your comments on this blog site!
Too Bad theere are still so many people who are so uninformed about the Irvings and the government in Saint John and NB; by the time they wake up and really knows what is trully happening this area could be called Saint Irvingville and we will be paying our taxes at the Irving Bank.
We need to have the laws protect the people here before we all die!

Your obviously pent up anger that jumps out in your letter against the citizens of Saint John because they are voicing their opinions is clearly & utterly disrespectful, the way you turn your head away from the (globally) printed truth is foolish, and your complete disregard for the feelings & health of others is certainly acting selfish. No?
You may just have to face this, no amount of power and money can buy integrity, is integrity important to you? your letter says no. Did you know it can't be bought? You may not have been taught that fact as a child, if so then you must have forgotten.

If I wanted to, I could easily, publicly, inundate this web site with original signed & dated articles, listing facts about the atrocities and that would make you even angrier.
