THERE WILL BE NO COMMENT SECTIONS IN ANDY SCOTT BLOG BUT????

I always like Doug Tyler even when he was a Minister in the Frank McKenna Government.

Picture 017

I always found him pleasant and straight forward.

I was surprised when he lost his seat in 1999 during the Bernard Lord sweep.

I bumped into Doug Tyler in Andy’s office.

Before Doug came into the picture, I walked by the Liberal headquarters and I noticed Andy inside chatting with his staff.

Of course being the agitator that I truly am?

I once again told Andy to get rid of those Glasses!!!

Picture 013

I like the old style.

Picture 017

It doesn’t match the person who’s on the election ad.

I must admit the elected official has a lot of patience with me.

If I would be in his shoes? I would have lost it a long time ago.

My second question – So? You’re a blogger now???

He proudly told me that he was indeed a blogger.

blog

I reminded the Minister a true blogger would leave a spot for comments for the readers.

He told me that he couldn’t leave a comment section because there could be some racist comments and we cannot have this.

He and other candidates have to be very careful.

I offered to volunteer my services to watch over the blogsite but no luck.

I am certain that myself and computer WCIE could have watch for bad racist or out of lines comments.

We do it here all the time.

I must admit that 99% of the readers are good. They don’t cross the line.

So I guess they’ll be no comments sections in Andy’s Blog.

I must add that Andy Scott made it perfectly clear to me and the other staff that if anyone in this blog who had any questions for the Liberal candidate?

They can do so by sending their question at info@andyscott.ca and your question will be answered.

I don't think that I would even waste my time anymore, All the liberals want to do is steale the our traditional values just like they stole all that Money from the canadian tax payer. and Don't you dare try to tell me that only Cretien had knowledge of that money laundering scheme. Paul Martin was the financial Minister and therefore, he had his grubby meat hooks on the financial purse strings of the finances of the Nation. What these people need to do is make things right with the Canadian people, and if the voting public are stupid enough to re-elect these Knuckleheads back into Office for another four-five years, then they are not very bright.

I don't mean to be unfeeling, or cruel, but this garbage has been flowing down thr so-called muddy river long enough. it is time to get a party in there who respects the traditonal values and decent moral fortitude that our founding fathers gave us when this Nation was founded.

Charles if Andy Scott is so great, why won't he allow people to leave comments on his blog site, and Questions as well, on Various Topics ?

We the people want to know about ?

Bernard Lord has $3 billion scandal in NB - Orimulsion. He is a Con-servative. They will be even worse. Remember Mulroney. God forbid that this Harper guy ever becomes Prime Minister. We have enough problems to get rid of Bernard Lord here and we do not want another problem at the national level.

Being a former resident of New Brunswick, it was great to find this blog site from my former home province.

I was sad to hear recently that NB is still classified as being one of the Have Not Provinces. Was the same back in the early 80's when I lived there.

The strong opinion from everybody I hear from and talk to up here in Ontario surprisingly enough is, Ontario will be swinging 95% to the conservative party in the up-coming federal election. Support for some reason or other, seems to be slipping from the NDP swing of things.

It's also very sad to be asked from my fellow workers here in Toronto all the time, " why is New Brunswick and the other Maritime Provinces with the exception of Nova Scotia Is " why are the other Maritime Province's all on Welfare and always depending on us here in Ontarion and Quebec, to keep bailing them out.

Some have also been saying as well, We don't care about what happens to the MARITIMES, they never were nothing or ever really counted in the big scheme of things here in Canada Overall.

All they care about up here, especially in Southern Ontario is About Themselves. Would love to come back to New Brunswick, my profession is Computer Science Engineering Professor, and have applied with various companies and so forth, but have been told there just aren't any positions vailable.

Fight for your rights in this coming election folk's, and make sure you get some of the Goodies for the MARITIMES :

All have a great Christmas, will be checking in on this site on a regular basis.

I'm in Ontario and I really haven't seen that. Most rural ridings in Ontario vote conservative, but most urban ones vote liberal and I've seen little change in that. I certainly haven't seen anything that would indicate a 95% changeover, but who knows.

I agree that NB shouldn't worry so much about selling to the states but should do some PR in the other provinces. People simply don't know the issues involved.

Anybody who thinks that a 'party' is going to represent all canadians values is crazy. There are 30 million canadians from every walk of life. Of course the 'traditional values' the country was founded on meant that most people couldn't vote, women had no rights, children started working at 9 years old, and ONLY landowners could vote. Good by and good riddance to 'traditional values'.

Tell Andy Scott that he isn't a blogger, whos a politician with a new sales tool, one that nobody's impressed with. Anybody dumb enough to just be reading a party blog instead of finding out the real story is too dumb to even be allowed to vote.

Scott's excuse for not allowing comments is that he's worried about racist comments?!? Last time I checked Scott is a caucasian male, not exactly a hot target of racism. You've been spun big time Charles! Surely he could have come up with a better excuse than that.

Here's why its dangerous letting anybody vote, they don't even know the facts.

FACT:
Bill C-2 aims at Child pornography. It lengthens jail time, makes child abuse the aggravating factor, adds 'voyeurism' to the criminal code, adds an extra charge of 'child exploitation' to child porn charges. This was voted AGAINST by conservatives.

FACT:
The liberals tabled Bill C-6 which establishes 'The Department of Public Safety'. Yet another 'government body' your tax dollars pay for that does little. THis was voted for by ALL parties.

FACT:
BIll C-11 is a bill to grant whistleblower protection to those in government who come forward on criminal, or unethical acts they see in the public service. THis was voted AGAINST by conservatives.

FACT:
Bill C-22 is yet another new govenrment body which will do nothing but tax your wallet, the 'Department of Social Development', this was also voted in favour by the Conservatives and was opposed by the NDP and Bloc.

FACT:
BIll C-23 is yet another new department-'Skills Development', which already is handled by human resources. This is yet more tax dollars and was favoured, again, by liberals AND conservatives but voted against by the NDP and BLoc.

FACT:
Bill C-30, the pay increase for parliamentarians, was voted against only by the Bloc and 17 liberals.

FACT:
Bill C-46 was tabled by LIBERALS and means stricter parole guidelines and allows victims testimonies at hearings. (remember, any party can present legislation)

FACT:
Other 'crime' based legislation includes bills on human trafficing, copyright infringements, animal cruelty, and allows for the seizure of drug property-all tabled by the liberals.

FACT:
BIll C-9, yet another 'new department' creates an economic development department for QUEBEC, a province that doesn't even WANT federal presence. This is yet more tax dollars going to bureaucracy which was ironically opposed by the PQ (meaning the representatives of Quebec). Yet this was VOTED FOR by the conservatives.

FACT:
Except for three pieces of legislation, ALL of the conservative 'tough on crime' legislations were proposed THE WEEK THE ELECTION WAS FORCED. This, of course, meant that they knew dam well that there was no way they would get to committee let alone passed. Even if the NDP hadn't forced the election they knew that they or the Bloc would be forcing an election or Martin would be calling one.

So to sum up, even if you're of the 'tough on crime' group (and my opinion is that most have no idea about the judicial or penal system, but that's not the point), even if you ARE tough on crime then clearly the liberals have introduced FAR more legislation.

Even most of the conservative crime legislation merely mirrors the US, which attends to peoples PERCEPTION of crime, not the reality, namely the every once in a while public case where media questions a judges verdict (usually with no coverage of all the facts).
So conservative legislation usually aims at taking away judges powers in sentencing. So even if a kid gets the hell beaten out of him every day of his life and then kills his father during a beating in a drunken rage he still gets no leniency.

This isn't to badmouth conservatives, except perhaps some of their decisions, but think carefully before you buy into the 'tough on crime' and 'saving of tax paying dollars' as conservative measures, because clearly they aren't.

One more that I forgot was about the conservatives 'democratic initiatives'. In the past Conservatives were at least far more democratically inclined and always at least touted free votes by their members, yet EVERY vote had ALL conservatives voting together, even on bills that would have helped conservative ridings. Just a coincidence?
