I have been told by one of the parents of this child that the Fredericton Police Force were called by a snobby bureaucrat.
The caller said- There's a child sitting on the sidewalk. They believe the child was neglected.
ARRGGGGG.....I know the parents and they're very good with the kid.
You mean a parent can't even sit down on the sidewalk with their child now???
ARRGGGGGG....The bureaucrats in this City are making me sick!!!!

First, how could anyone know the police got their call from a bureaucrat? Never mind a snobby one...
Second, was the child unattended on the sidewalk? You may know the parents, but that doesn't mean it's not normal for a stranger going by to worry about a small child like that, if left alone on the street.
Who knows who called the police. The officers were very kind and just doing thier job... and responding to a complaint.
As for leaving our child unattended... I do not know what world you live in! That was definitely NOT the case... nor ever will be!
It is just amazing, how people take it upon themselves, to feel that they have to report a family that they know NOTHING about, to the police.
MAYBE... if they were that CONCERNED about the safety and well being of our child... they should have approached us and actually met our child and us.
Instead... they chose to make a cowardly action, and create an issue over something they know nothing about.
We have run into many law enforcement officers while we have been sitting on the streets for the past 4 years with our child. Never once, has an LEO ever said anything to us about how we choose to live our lives or raise our child.
Oviously, they have a better sense of judgement, than an anon caller that has no life and must interfere with other people's lives.

These cowards bureaucrats complain that I should be ban from the Legislature for life.
Well, guess what? I'm coming out with a plan and once I get those names?

Not everybody who lives in Fredericton works for the government. How can you not understand that simple fact?
If that child had been neglected and nobody called the police with concern, then people would be up in arms screaming about that too.
What the Heck are you talking about Charles? That is just about the most self serving piece of trash you have ever posted . Where do you get off comparing your self inflicted problems to what happened here? You have absolutely NO damned idea who made that phone call. It could have just as easily been a store clerk, a tourist or a shopper. But that wouldn't fit your self serving rant would it.
On the other hand isn't it odd, just a week or so earlier it was you that was so worried about a young child down town. And what was your thoughts on whether you should do anything? This was your thoughts then "It's very scary to even ask the question because you don't know what you can be accuse of? Better be safe than sorry I guess?" Well just maybe whom ever decided to ask the officer to check on this little girl decided they preferred to be safe than sorry too. The only difference was in their approach. Just like you they were concerned and just like you they were mistaken. I'd rather be concerned and mistaken than do nothing only to find out later I should have. But maybe we all don't have your wisdom and training like Chrales to be able to tell who needs help and who doesn't. Shame on you Charles.
As for the mother, you too should know better. Why should anyone approach you? Maybe they didn't even know you were the Childs mother. What difference does it make that they didn't know you? Are you only concerned about people you know? So you felt bad that someone might have thought your little girl was lost, or neglected. Who wouldn't feel bad, maybe even a little mad? I sure as heck would. So what would YOU have said to them If they approached you as you suggest they should have? Would you have thanked them for their concern and explained they needn't worry, how you always know where daughter is ever minute? Or would you have screamed bloody murder and told them to mind there own damned business? Based on your response here I am pretty sure I know which one it would have been. What they did wasn't meant to make YOU feel better. They did it because they were concerned about a child. So apparently they were wrong. That's actually good don't you think? I only hope YOU would be as concerned someday if the situation arose. So grow up, take it with a grain of salt and be thankful that some people out there do care. The next time their "interference" might save a life. Isn't that worth a little discomfort on your part?
It a strange thing when so many times on this blog people are criticized for not doing enough yet when someone tries (even if in the end mistakenly) their called cowards. Kind of makes you wonder who the childish ones are.

I live in this city and I work down town and I am not a bureaucrat. As a matter of fact the majority of people that walk by are not what you would consider "bureaucrats" Your no better those you complain about. Your always going on about the big bad bureaucrats lying about you and what do you do the very same thing. Just like them you can't admit to being wrong and just like them you would tell ten more lies to try and cover up one.
