THE WINDS OF CHANGE ARE BLOWING!
According to a Corporate Research Associates Poll (CRA) published in l’Acadie Nouvelle today, Liberals now have 44% support, the Tories 42% and the NDP 10% of decided voters.
These results clearly show that the Liberal Party has the momentum going into the final days of the campaign.
In its editorial, Gaetan Chiasson from l’Acadie Nouvelle says: “The Party that has the lead in the final days of the campaign is usually the one that wins the election”.
To the question: Who would be the best Premier, Shawn Graham has dramatically narrowed Lord’s lead, from 10 points to just 4 points.
For CRA’s President Don Mills, unless there is a major reversal in the trend, Liberals will form the next government. “ Over the last 10 days, we have seen a significant shift in public opinion, going from the Tories over to the Liberals. Favorable circumstances are now on the Liberal side. If the trend holds, Liberals will win a majority on September 18.”
The auto insurance file continues to haunt the Tories. 2 out of 3 voters questioned in the CRA poll say it will have an impact on their voting intentions. In Northern New Brunswick, 3 out of 4 voters say it will have an impact on their voting intentions.
The Orimulsion fiasco is the other dominant factor in this election, with 53% of voters saying it will have an impact on their voting intentions.
According to this poll, other important issues are Health (17%); Education (11%); Job Creation (7%); Seniors Care (7%); Gas Prices (5%).
This poll was taken right after the TV debates, between September 7-10 and has a margin of error of 3,8%, 19 times out of 20. Its results are considered far more reliable than those of the three previous polls taken since the beginning of the campaign

Selon un sondage Corporate Research Associates (CRA), publié aujourd’hui dans l’Acadie Nouvelle, le Parti Libéral récolte 44% d’appui, les Conservateurs 42% et le NPD 10% des répondants dont le choix est fait.
Ces résultats démontrent clairement que le Parti Libéral a le momentum dans les derniers jours de la campagne.
Dans son éditorial, Gaëtan Chiasson de l’Acadie Nouvelle affirme: “Le Parti qui prend la commande dans la dernière semaine de la campagne, celui qui a le dynamisme, est habituellement celui qui remporte l’élection”.
A la question: Qui, selon vous, ferait le meilleur premier ministre, Shawn Graham a réduit de façon significative l’avance de Bernard Lord, qui passe de 10 points à seulement 4 points.
Selon Don Mills, Président de CRA, à moins d’un revirement majeur, les libéraux vont remporter une victoire majoritaire le 18 septembre. “ Nous constatons un tournant de l’opinion depuis une dizaine de jours. Il va du Parti progressiste-conservateur vers le Parti libéral. Les circonstances favorables sont maintenant de son côté. Si la tendance se maintient, les libéraux remporteront une majorité de sièges le 18 septembre.”
Le dossier de l’assurance-auto continue de hanter les conservateurs. Plus de 2 électeurs sur 3 questionnés lors de ce sondage affirment que cela aura un impact sur leurs intentions de vote. Dans le Nord du Nouveau-Brunswick, 3 personnes sondées sur 4 sont du même avis.
Le fiasco de l’orimulsion a aussi un impact certain sur l’opinion des électeurs questionnés. 53% des répondants confirme que ce dossier aura un impact sur leurs intentions de vote.
Toujours selon ce sondage, les autres dossiers d’importance sont: la santé (17%); l’éducation (11%); la création d’emplois (7%); les soins aux aînés (7%); le prix de l’essence (5%).
Ce sondage a été réalisé tout de suite après les débats télévisés, soit du 7 au 10 septembre. Il a une marge d’erreur de 3,8%, 19 fois sur 20. Ses résultats sont considérés plus fiables que les trois autres sondages réalisés depuis le début de la campagne.
They are using tactics to get a few more PC votes saying Liberals are ahead to get people who can't betray Lord. Lord should be down on his knees asking for forgiveness; don't hold your breathe. He still doesnot understand or cares waht people of NB needs. We all can afford to pay more and that is his platform that he believes. Corporation make profits into millions and billions and he want to squeeze our last dollar. The struggle we have have not gotten easier just a whole lot more desperate. All the extra taxes and increase in services have put us in debt because our pays do not keep up. Middle class is going on a fast decline and that is what the government is allowing to happen right now. Give Premier Lord what he deserves a chair in a corner somewhere but not in Office!
