The latter. It is all about Bernard Lord's political survival. NBers can take a hike as far as he is concerned. There are many minority governments who are surviving well, Nova Scotia, Harper Government. What is so special about Bernard Lord?
While you dump on Bernard Lord you’re forgetting about the desperate liberal want to take power. A Shawn Graham government would return the province to a top down approach of government. A bunch of over paid people from outside the province will be telling us what to do. Our taxes will be going up so fast from the liberal promises, declaring bankruptcy will look like a good thing.

Province took lot of hits under Bernard Lord including $2.2 billion on Orimulsion fiasco; destroyed province’s healthcare and destroying finances of the province through highway toll debacle and many other missteps.
