PLEASE VOTE FOR BERNARD LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charles 04_07_05 071

If you love the politicians?

Please vote for Bernard Lord during this bi-election.

The Bernard Lord Government holds a one seat majority.

I don’t know if you people heard that during the summer months?

It’s very hot in the Legislature so therefore our elected officials are force to sit in the hot Chambers and sweat it out.

Charles 04_07_05 119

There's no air conditioners in there. All they have in place is fans. Too make matters worse? They are forced to wear long sleeves shirts.

If Bernard Lord wins this bi-election?

The MLA’S from both political parties will have it made.

They wouldn’t have to stay around the Legislature during a crucial vote.

So if you love our elected officials from both political parties?

Please Vote for Bernard Lord.

L-new

If you dislike politicians and want to make them earn their money in the Legislature?

Please vote for Shawn Graham.

BERNARD LORD AND LANDLORDS SIDE BY SIDE????

Hoot-poor

I received this little comment this morning

This by-election is out of control as far as the lord side goes.

They have gone WWAAYY overboard on the legal amount allowed to spend.

Michelle said yesterday on the radio debate that she understands the working poor because she was in the category but on the television debate she was bragging that she was a very successful business woman at age 18 i think it was.

Also the bullying going on in the south end is rediculus one store was constantly harrassed because he had a liberal poster in his window.

It got so bad that he took it out but not from his customers this was business suits complaining also I had different people ask if their landlord is allowed to ask them NOT to put a liberal poster in their own apt window????

The owners do not even live in the riding.

This action has really baffled a few tenants in the riding.

Democracy for the poor Families in Saint John Harbour? I don't think so!!!!

WHAT IS BERNARD LORD SAYING????

L-forked

HEY CITY OF FREDERICTON??? IT'S CALLED - TREE-MAIL!!!!

There’s a certain individual who’s has been very good to me during the past year.

P1010025

We all know the old saying - If someone is good to you once you’re down? You keep these individuals very close to your heart.

The minute they asked for help?

You jump forward without a moment notice.

I always been that way and always will be and there was no exception in this case.

The person asked me if I would post these posters around the City of Fredericton?

poster-nov-09--05-lg

I did once before with Vivenewbrunswick.com posters.

I don’t mind this line of work at all. It’s good exercise.

Friday night, I put my winter Jacket on and on the prowl I went.

I walked across the walking bridge and landed in the North side of the City.

S6

It just dark and like a true person with ADHD????

I zigzagged across the streets and I believe that I almost got all the places in that part of the City.

Monday morning, the individual told me that someone did a great job putting the posters around the North Side. She was surprised once I told her that I was in that area.

So we had one person with ADHD totally out of control with a stapler gun and posting I did!

I did make once little boo boo!

I posted them on the trees and one person got angry and phoned FAPO to complain.

Ok…you learn by your mistake and the complaint was legitimate.

The next phone call wasn’t so nice.

It was from the City of Fredericton and they were angry of all the posters around the City.

P1010009

Sorry! We got a problem here!

This is not email!!! It’s TREE MAIL!!!!

I don’t know if the City of Fredericton understand there’s some poor people in this City who cannot afford to buy a newspaper or no television!

Charles 04_07_05 018

So? How do you reach the poor?

BY TREE MAIL!!!!!

The City was upset and told FAPO that they were going to remove every posters from the polls.

Well? They could have waited till the meeting was over.

But seriously? This is ridiculous!

They must understand that the poor individuals needs TREE MAIL to get their information!

I enjoyed it and I had a little fun this evening.

I was walking on Nedham Street.< I love that street > It’s real nice and guess who was walking towards me?

It was the guy who takes the calls for the Rogers Television.

He’s physically handicap and he’s a nice guy.

I shouted- DOWN WITH ROGERS!!!!! LONG LIVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH!

I believe that he almost sh#t in his pants once he seen me coming towards him in the dark!

We had a little chat and I let it known that there was no hard feeling.

My battle are with the higher ups!

I find it shameful that Rich Crosby would have a show on the Veterans and he himself has denied certain callers from calling the show! These veterans have fought for freedom od speech and they go on his show? Shame!!

Freedom of speech at Rogers???? It’s over!!!
lordtv

They have joined the Irvings in denying freedom of speech to New Brunswickers and the worst thing about it?

These are from Big shots from Ontario.

In their minds, we New Brunswickers are nothing!

I told the guy that I will never call Rogers again but I will let the whole wide world that Rogers television have over step their bounds. They joined the Irvings to go against New Brunswickers!

jd

But it’s not that bad????

WE STILL HAVE TREE MAIL TO SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!

AN EMAIL FROM THE STUDENTS AT UNBSJ!!!!!!

Hoot-bodygaurd

Dear Mr. LebLanc,

Below is a letter the students of the unbsj calss are sending the TJ everyday until it get published. We sent it to ron barry and people have to know the truth the telegraph journal is not gonna down play the truth about what happeneded.

We want to correct the story about what went on in our class at UNBSJ. The paper did not get their facts right. Candidates were asked to talk about their party and policies - not to campaign. Ms. Hooton did the opposite.

The first question was about small business taxes. She answered rudely and told the student "that she had been a business woman since she was 19 and that he did not know what he was talking about".

The second question asked why she was keeping her position and salary as deputy mayor while running for provincial election. She said the student was "wrong" to suggest that she was not doing her job properly. She was quite forceful in her response to us. She then pointed her finger at him and told him not to roll his eyes at her.

Another student brought up the LNG question. Ms. Hooton said she was against two things, first the deal and second the process. It became clear from her discussion that by the second vote she was only against the process not the deal itself. A visiting Professor pointed out the contradiction, but was asked to leave questioning to the students.

At the end of the class the student with the handwritten sign reading "Rooting against Hooton" was approached and asked to give her the sign. Her request was rather intimidating given the three male campaign workers with her.

Our greatest concern with the Telegraph Journal story is that it downplays the forceful and aggressive tone of Ms. Hootonâۉ„¢s talk. We were left feeling under attack.

Sincerely,

The students of Canadian Politics

This was shortend do to 250 but alot has been left out.

WOULD IT BE WISE OF BERNARD LORD TO SHOW UP FOR REMEMBRANCE DAY IN SAINT JOHN????

I WILL BE A GUEST SPEAKER AT THIS MEETING ON WEDNESDAY EVENING!!!!

I'm going to go public with the issue of roomers and boarders rights Wednesday evening. I'll speak of my experience at 114 Brunswick Street for around 15 to 20 minutes and this should be enough time to cover all the important issues. The Bernard Lord Government must act on this urgent matter.

EVEN THE POOR CITIZENS SHOULD HAVE TO RIGHT TO SPEAK OUT!!!!

I will let you readers in on a little secret.

May 4-2005-T& C-6

I told a few people in the Capital that once the Provincial election is called?

Myself and Tim Smith are ready to dedicate ourselves to the election.

If someone step forward with some money?

We would rent a car, get two blowhorns and follow the Bernard Lord Bus around the province.

Can you imagine that one?

Two ADHD individuals with each a blowhorn?

It would drive Bernard Lord nutso!!!!!

L-campaign

The scary thing is WE WOULD DO IT!!!!

I dedicated the last six years of my life towards saving the 47,000 kids in this province who are force on Ritalin and Tim Smith is very well determine with his VLT’S cause.

charles

Lets face facts here!!!! We are not going away!

These issues must be confronted head on!!!!!

I walked by the Centennial building this afternoon and there were no vehicles present. They must all be in Saint John?

Charles 04_07_05 116

The only one there was Rodney Weston. He sure drive a fancy SUV!

rodney

I was volunteering at the Soup Kitchen this evening and afterwards someone told me that Tim Smith was on ATV News in a shouting match with the Premier.

I’m telling ya one thing right now?

Tim Smith will not give up and Bernard Lord should understand this.

rolly

He goes on talk of the town and many people tell him on the street that they agree with him 100%!!!!

cfbc2

I get the same approach once I’m in Saint John. I get comments from people on the street all the time.

I still believe that talk of the town plays a bigger role in this election than the Irving newspapers.

Charles 04_07_05 020

Hey? I had one reporter today that told me they believe that the Liberals will win this bi-election.

This is the first time I heard this prediction since the elction was called. In the past, everyone from the media in the Capital always told me that Bernard Lord was a shoe in!!!

P1010088

Well not anymore!!!!!

The question is this??? How many people in that riding are going to go and vote????

Will the poor pay attention to people like im Smith or will they believe the people coming from the Capiyal in a fancy suit??? Would people respect Tim more if he was in a fancy suit?

Mr.Liberal

Those are the emotional questions?

Tim gets up early in the morning to get his daughter ready for school. I seen him in action and he’s a very good father.

While he waits for his daughter to get home from school?

He keeps himself busy with the election. He campaigns door to door and stands on the streets telling the pass-by to vote for the Liberal Party.

The poor are too weak to fight but not Tim Smith. He has the smarts and ADHD energy to carry on the fight!!!!

P1010089

To call Tim a welfare bum is unfair and he should be congratulated for a job very well done.

My god? If they believe that Tim is bad? What are they going to think once I joined him in Saint John on Friday?

bernard

Stay tune!!!!

Here’s Tim’s story in his own word-

steve12

I went out today as I knew Mr.Lord would be making an appearance in Saint John on Charlotte Street for the opening of Mrs.Weir's office.

So I took advantage of the media to remind Mr.Lord that the only reason he created Mrs.Weir's Job Tittle was to move her out of the way so he can try and steal the poor peoples votes and that was the ONLY reason.

cry baby

The Irving flyer is being by-est toward this by-election and will not give the Liberal party their just due as far as information reaching the people goes so any opportunity is a golden opportunity as far as getting the message out there.

L-Lia

But I just want to make this perfectly clear.

VLT!!!!

I went on my own as I knew the LNG group was going to be there so therefore cameras would be also ,of which I took advantage of.

I am in no way nor is the Liberal Party associated with the LNG group.

The main reason I am explaining this is because the Hooton's office is directly across the street from the new office of Mrs.Weir and I know for a fact the CON-servative party will try to connect me with the LNG group as they were making bogus calls as soon as I arrived.

But again we MUST take advantage of the press and or Media...Thank-you

THE IRVINGS AND ROGERS TELEVISION WILL STEP UP TO THE PLATE FOR BERNARD LORD!!!!!

HE KEPT A PROMISE FOR HIS OWN PERSONAL GAIN???? CHILD ADVOCATE??? OF COURSE NOT!!

Telegraph Journal is starting to support the Premier. It's on the front page!!!!!

The government announced last year that it would set up such an agency - a promise on which Mr. Lord made good on Oct. 13 when he appointed Ms. Weir to head the new agency.

Rebate details out today
Premier responds to heating oil increase

By Derwin Gowan
Telegraph-Journal

Premier Bernard Lord will announce details of the provincial home heating oil benefit this afternoon.

The premier announced on Sept. 9 that the government would pay a one-time home-heating oil cash rebate to families with gross annual income of less than $45,000 who do not receive social assistance.

The premier announced the one-time rebate in response to sharp increases in oil prices resulting from hurricanes and other factors over which the government of New Brunswick has no control.

Premier Lord said in September the rebate would help about 37,000 families, costing taxpayers $6 million.

The premier will come to Saint John this afternoon to help Elizabeth Weir, president of the new Energy Efficiency and Conservation Agency of New Brunswick, officially open the organization's new offices on Charlotte Street at 2 p.m.

Mr. Lord announced the outlines of the rebate program following a government caucus meeting on Sept. 9, but a government source says he will announce today details such as where and how to apply - and who, exactly, qualifies.

The source said that people who qualify should get their cheques two to four weeks after they apply.

"The increasing cost of oil is a global problem and the government cannot do anything about the cost of oil," the source said.

Mr. Lord announced this rebate as a one-shot deal for the hardest hit families but, the source said the long-term solution lies in burning less oil.

The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Agency will address that issue.

The government announced last year that it would set up such an agency - a promise on which Mr. Lord made good on Oct. 13 when he appointed Ms. Weir to head the new agency.

Ms. Weir had to give up her job as Saint John Harbour MLA and leader of the New Brunswick New Democratic Party when she accepted the new position, precipitating both a byelection and a leadership convention.

New Democrats chose Allison Brewer of Fredericton as their new provincial leader. Saint John Harbour voters go to the polls on Nov. 14.
