It really probably is a shorter list of what Irving doesn't own in the provinces of New Brunswick, P.E.I. and Nova Scotia but for those of you interested in knowing the Irvings cold reach into our society have a look at this list. I may even be currently working for one of these businesses...

PROTESTERS CANNOT LOCATE A LAWYER TO CONFRONT THE IRVINGS!!!!
This is indeed a sad day for many people in New Brunswick especially in the area of Memramcook and Shediac.
It was exactly one year ago this morning that Remi Cormier was hit and killed by a school bus in Cap Bimet!
I personally know this Family and my prayers are with them on this sad day!
Hey? Guess what?
Today is also Saint Andrew Day! I noticed the Scottish Flag flying at half mast in front of the Legislature. I am half Scottish < That’s my problem not ADHD…LOL… > therefore we all know there’s nothing more stubborn that a darn Scotsman!
Last night while entering the Soup Kitchen, I noticed the 5 months old woman had all her belongings on the ground.
My God? She had a lot of stuff in there!
It reminded me of my protest in front of the Legislature. The Sergeant At Arms couldn’t believe that I had so much junk????
Hey? You live in a tent for six months? People are going to come by with items such as Blankets, t-shirts and other things!
I confronted a few people about the issue of the poor girl
Shawn Graham- Liberal
Roly McIntyre- Liberal
Kevin Price-Bureaucrat
ChisHolm Pothier < aide to Premier Lord >
Milt Sherwood < P.C. MLA >
Two other bureaucrats
This morning while leaving the Library, I told Chisholm Pothier of the poor girl!
Seconds later in front of me were all these Irving reporters and other media personal asking me to move over so they could film the Premier leaving the floor of the Legislature.
I answered- What do you think I am? A media Hound???
A few Irving reporters quickly said- Yes you are!!!
Oh well? C’est la vie!...lol…
They had their interview with Bernard Lord while I was sitting on a nice sofa! I could only stay in that atmosphere for a few minutes.
Hey? How come the Blogger cannot asked questions to the Premier?
Of course, I could have waited in the background until he was done and confront him on the issue of the pregnant woman but I already told his aide Chisholm Pothier and I was told by a bureaucrat that someone from Family Services will go down there and chat with the girl!
Hey? I said it in the past and I will say it again! I really don’t care where the girl sleeps?
I do care for the unborn child! The unborns in this province should be protected at any cost so lets see what’s going to happen???
As of last evening? No one from the Government approach her for support! Stay tune!!!
I just receive an email from my favourite Priest and he’s ok!
Speaking of Religion? You know something?
There’s another issue that bothered me in the past and I droved my Priest crazy on a few occasions with my many questions.
I’ll try to explain my views on this issue-
1,200 years before Jesus came Moise!
1,000 years before Jesus came David
2,005 years ago Jesus was born!
It’s been around 2,000 years since we saw a true person popping out from nowhere doing huge Miracles????
You know something? What do you believe would happen if Pope John Paul showed up in the Blue Skies of Rome and told everyone – Not to mourn because he’s with God!!!
Can you imagine what would happen afterwards?????
I mean with the media, internet and proof and that there’s life after death????
My God? It sure would change many people attitude in this world!
It would be such a strong message that the Irvings would run from the Golden Ball in Saint John and shower the public with money!
But seriously think about it? Millions of people are waiting 10 to 20 hours in line to pay their respect to the Pope < 1 to 2 minute >
You would believe that this large amount of believers would attract some attention from above?
Oh well? Faith is stronger than seeing so I guess we will continue the way of believing in God!
Ok…What am I??? Born again? Change the subject Charlie!
I heard that many poor families are planning to set up a tent City in front of the Legislature during the next few months so lets see what’s going to happen on that issue?
Speaking of protesters? Remember this protest? Go to
CharlesBlog
and stroll down to picture number#15!
Bonnie O’Dea was in court last Friday and I was there. She was represented by two individuals who were not lawyers. She told the court that Legal Aid will not give her a lawyer so therefore she only has faith on the guy who was supposed to represent her.
It’s a long story and I was taking notes.
Some issue caught my eye while I was listening to the debate?
There was a tiny police female officer sitting beside me with a huge revolver on her side! My mind went back to Atlanta Georgia where the guy grab the weapon and shot the judge!
I said to myself? Shouldn't the officers be a large Male? What would happen if someone went nuts in the court room???
The only police officers presents were two tiny females! Hey? This is New Brunswick!!! We’re not supposed to think this way!
Anyway, the Judge denied the individual to represent Bonnie so they adjourned the court for a quick meeting so the protesters could go to Plan B!
I followed them outside and there were another guy who was making fun of the decision of the Judge!
The two individuals and Bonnie teamed up outside and asked me if they could have their meeting in private?
No problem!!!! All I wanted to do is stand there keep my mouth shut < I KNOW IT’S HARD TO BELIEVE BUT I CAN DO IT!!..LOL > and learn how these protesters are going to fight the Justice system without proper legal lawyers?
I told them it was ok and I went home! I wonder what happened? It sure would have been nice to share this story with the readers! Oh well? C’est la vie!!!!
Speaking of lawyers? The fishermen in the Red Head area got together and collected $6,000 for a lawyer so they could fight the Irvings!
The LNG issue is still in the minds of many people! The local talk show CFBC has many angry callers about this issue! The issue of LNG don’t seem to go away!!!
Guess what? They couldn’t find a lawyer in Saint John to take their case!
They finally located a lawyer in Fredericton and he told the fighters that it would take at least $100,000 just for a start to fight the Irving Empire!
Sure reminds me of Mr.Burns on the Simpsons!
I remember my case with the Irvings! Those racists members of the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission told me to bring them in court!
I read in the Irving paper that a lawyer preached to the students about discrimination and racism in the workplace!
I said- Hey? HE’S THE GUY THAT I WANT TO CHAT WITH!
I had the lawyer on the phone and the minute that I mentioned- IRVING????
He quickly hung up the phone! Very scary stuff!
The Irvings have control of the lawyers and it’s all part of the Final Solution!
Too bad so sad!!!
Sh@t!!!! OVER 1,200 WORDS ALREADY????
Please excuse the style and grammar of this update because I just write the darn thing and send it along the information highway!!!!
BY THE WAY???? Someone sent me the link of the Federal sponsorship debate in Ottawa but if I pasted the link in this Blog? Could I be in trouble?????? Let me know…
Bye bye

LORD GOVERNMENT WON'T GIVE WIFE TIME TO MOURN?????
Hi Charlie,
I have another unbelievable story which just took place this week which is another reflection of this Government and what they are all about.
A man that I know died on Saturday (April 2,2005) in Saint John of a brain
tumor.
His wife received a bill fromt he government yesterday April 6, 2005 stating the amout of money that her husband owed and that if she did not pay it in full they are going to take her home and any other asset that they have.
She is not well herself, she has parkinson disease, a very serious heart condition as well as many other medical problems.
I wanted you to share this with your readers so they know just how they treat
the every day person who pays for EVERYTHING in this Province. I think that they should stop supporting the Billionaire Irvings and get back to the real world.
I think if he owed money they could of made arrangements for payments to be made not the treat 4 days after her husband died to take everything that they have ever owned. Everyone deserves mourning time Mr Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS IS THE COLUMN THAT WAS DENIED IN THE DAILY GLEANER! < IRVING PAPER >
Here's the story-
Two different Cities but two different Countries?
In the late 80s, I began to work at the shipyard in Saint John. It was 10 years of good money and a very high standard of living. A few workers would take the bus
to work and we would say - You take the bus??? With all that money you make??? I remember a few workers couldn’t understand the reason that some of our taxes
would go towards the welfare system!
The good old days came to an abrupt end on July 19th, 1996. The Shipyard
closed its doors and many workers received a rude awakening call. Carolyn McNaulty at Romeo House < Soup Kitchen > received many phone calls from many former
shipyard workers in need of help. It was a very difficult financial adjustment. The days of going to the restaurants were over and months afterwards, many
would instead go at the Soup Kitchen.
Saint John always had their share of poor citizens but after the closure of the Shipyard? The amount grew much larger.
On June 17, 2003, I began my six months tent protest in front of the Legislature and I would quickly learned there’s a big different in attitude between the City of Saint John and Fredericton. The Loyalist City has a Blue Collar attitude therefore more open minded than the Capital.
During my first evening, I heard someone shouting towards an individual. The
reason? He was going through a garbage Bin collecting empties. Of course, in Saint John this would be a normal picture and no one will condemn this act.
On July 2nd, I decided to go at Officer’s Square to watch the morning sunrise. While walking near a dumpster someone popped their head like a Jack in the box. He
had a cardboard box over his head. He was collecting empty bottles from the celebration of the evening before. He told me that he only makes $264.00 an month
therefore that’s not enough to survive on. He came by my tent and told me that he collected $92.00 in bottles and went home happy!
It’s called –Survival!
I would soon found out there was a Soup Kitchen located in the Southern Part of the City. Every evening, I would make my little walk to this needy place. Once
there, I notice that the volunteers were very friendly and George Pierce is really in charge of the going on around the Kitchen.
They served two meals a day and I might add you can eat all your stomach can take. While in Saint John, The soup Kitchen would serve you one meal a day between 10:00am and 1:00pm! Even poor people do get hungry in the evenings. I might add that
the St-Andrew-St-David Church serves dinner once a month and the place is full of poor people. Many would ask for seconds to bring home.
I remember in the summer of 2003, I read in the paper that Shirley McAlary announced that the opening of the Harbour Passage was a huge success because they gave away 500 to 800 hotdogs!
Excuse me? PEOPLE ARE HUNGRY!!!
Why do some poor families goes hungry in one City while the other is full? That’s the emotional question?
I would soon find out the Shelter and the Soup Kitchen are the area of the less Fortunate. The poor souls can do their little or alcohol around the building. No
one will bother them as long they stay in that area!
Compare to Saint John, this is a good idea. It’s their property and the Police won’t bother anyone.
I would soon find out that the Transit system is very bad in the Capital compare to Saint John. I heard a sad story of a young girl who wanted to have an interview for a job but she couldn’t because she had to wait 3 hours for the next bus! Of course, the attitude must be the same of my shipyard days?
They must say - You take the bus??? What’s wrong with you? Don’t you have any
bureaucratic friends? The bus system is much better in Saint John.
The Food bank in the Capital is located in a high class neighborhood. In Saint John these helpful locations are located in the area of the poor population. In the Capital, the homeless have no place to go so they can escape the cold winter winds.
In Saint John, the Salvation Army has a place where these poor individual can have a coffee or play some pool! Once a person is evicted from a mall? There’s
not too many place a person can go.
The Salvation Army in Saint John would charge $7.50 a night for accommodation compare to the Capital who will take someone free of charge for a few evenings.
In the Capital, if a person is down on their luck, They have to lower their pride and asked the Government for assistance. They have open cubicles at the Family
Services building where everyone can hear your personal business compare to Saint John were these private conversations are done in a private atmosphere!!
I could go on and on.
Yes! We do live in two different Cities and we have our different way of
the matter the poor are too be treated but from the point I see it? It sure looks like we’re living in two different countries!

WORKERS AT FAMILY SERVICES MUST INVESTIGATE BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!
First, I would like to apologizes to the Pope for writing that bad grammar update a few days ago!
I read it last night and it was terrible! Hey? At least it’s the thought that counts! Oh well? C’est la vie!
Many of you are addicted to my updates because I receive a few email asking me – Where’s your latest blog? I did my wash yesterday so therefore I was late!
Today is anti-abortion day in front of the Abortion clinic in Frederciton. There were four protesters out front and they always gather around that killing place every Tuesday to voice their objections against those young people who goes in for an abortion!
Lately, I can feel a tension in the air around that place so stay tune!
Ok…speaking of abortion or force abortion?
I confronted a few MLA’S from the Lord’s Government on the issue of the five months old pregnant woman living under the steps under the Soup Kitchen.
These politicians were-
Keith Ashfield < Minister >
Brenda Fowlie < Minister >
Rose-May Poirier < Minister >
Madelaine Dube < Minister >
Trevor Holder
It’s sure is nice to speak French and English because I told them in both languages - They should contact Family Services to investigate this emotional issue!
Hey? Even the unborn should have rights?
I was told by the pregnant woman that Supply and Services told her to move out from under the stairways by today?
She sounded upset but there is one thing that bothered me.
She asked me - Where will my two friends < Males > and I go???
Well? I really don’t care where the males are going to land but I do care for the unborn child!
I guess these Social workers are only trained to go into people homes and find out who is making $264.00 an month and who are they living with?
Maybe these workers at family Services are only trained to degrade people who asked for help in those open Cubicles? Who knows?
Someone called Family Services about this unborn child but no one left the building of Family Services to investigate this girl!
The question is why? Hey? A few suggested that she’s not pregnant? Why don’t Family Services investigate this issue???
Someone told me this Department will take the child away from the Mother once she gives birth but what about until that happens?
Maybe it’s Family Services who told Supply Services to order the woman out from under the steps????
Many questions that needs some answers!!!!
Someone suggested that it’s easier to live in Prison than trying to survive on the streets???
Is this where our poor New Brunswickers heading to?
Prison to survive? Think about it?
Free rent, Television and meals! You don’t have to worry where your next meals is going to come from?
Myself? Too hyper to be in there!!!...lol…
But seriously? Are many New Brunswickers committing the crime to do the time? I wonder? Much less stress in there than on the streets if you asked moi???
After the budget was announced at the Legislature, I was walking from the Library, I heard many people laughing in the hallways!
I wonder why everyone was such in a happy mood? I am certain that the people on welfare weren’t happy about the 2% raise they are going to receiving on their welfare check!
Hey? I found a neat site on the web. Check this site out

Blog
Go on the top of the left hand side and click on the pictures. It from my old birth place of Memramcook and it sure bought me a lot of memories. Ever since that I had to get rid of my vehicle? I haven’t been to my home town for four years! C’est la vie!!
Yesterday, I received a little flashback from a few years ago.
Josh Beuthel < My Favourite political Cartoonist > printed a book about Frank McKenna and he sold copies at the Liberal Provincial Convention in Saint John Harbour Station in May 1998!
I decided to give Josh a helping hand selling his book! I bumped into J.D. Irving and asked him if he wanted to buy a book?
He told me that he would! I was surprise because as a man of his word, he was at the counter asking Josh for a copy of his book!
He bought the book and left the area but it was the story that I heard afterwards that I found funny!
He gave the lady a $20.00 American bill and demanded the exchange in Canadian cash!
A Billionaire could have said - Keep the change but I guess this is the reason these people are Billionaires I guess?
Some people around the table found that kind of action insulting but this is the Irving way!!!! Money control money control money control!!!!
I never wrote about this issue in the past. I guess that I didn’t believe that it was no big deal!!!
Hey? Guess what I saw on CNN a few days ago? They had a commercial promoting the drug Concerta for adults with ADHD!
Totally Ridiculous! Why would these commercials be allowed in Canada anyway?
I chatted with an elected official from the Lord Government and the issue to study the issue of Ritalin should be official during the next few days! Lets see what’s going to happen!
Bernard Lord is on television all week telling the television audience that he will be a guest on Voice of the Province < television talk show > on Thursday at 8:00pm!
My God? What does he want? A war on television????
You know what? I don’t believe that I will bother to call in because it’s just a big waste of time and effort from my part!
He will always say- Hey? If the Doctors prescribes the pills? Than it must be ok??? Yeah? That’s the reason we have a huge drug problems in this Province.
Yesterday, a 24 year old male robbed a shopping Drug Mart in Moncton and took a cab to Riverview< across the river>
The spoke person for the police was laughing with the media of the way the guy plan his escape! But you know what? It’s no laughing matter!
The guy robbed the store in the early part of the morning so I presume he wanted his fixes! < pain killers >
I’m telling you one thing, Prescription drug is totally out of control in New Brunswick and it’s a darn shame that the Lord Government didn’t listen to me 6 years ago about this issue because we’re in a big mess in today’s standard!
Sh@t!!! Over 1,100 words already????
Ok…excuse the style and grammar of this update because I just write the darn thing and send it along the information Highway! Bye bye

WE MUST TELL TIM SMITH THAT HE WAS RIGHT!!!
WE MUST TELL TIM SMITH HE IS RIGHT!!!
This statement coming from MLA Mike Murphy of the Liberal
party Friday during a meeting in the Legislature on VLT addiction.
In this Province, we must confirm Mr. Smith's comment on the hours of operation of these machines and the allotted time for hopelessly addicted persons of New Brunswick to not have these machines blocking their path every minute of the day if in fact they are for entertainment purposes only!

WHY WAS J.D. IRVING IN BERNARD LORD OFFICE??????
I am late for my blog so please excuse the style and grammar because it is indeed going to be a quick one.
Before I begin, I wish to send my prayers to my favourite Priest. He's in Moncton for a surgery and lets pray that everything will be fine. It's nothing serious but a person never know.
I didn't see any bureaucrats or Politicians around the Legislature today. One bureaucrat did come out of the building and quickly ran to his vehicle before I could tell him of the poor pregnant who's five months pregnant and living under the stairways of the Soup Kitchen.
I will confront more people in the morning because the Legislature will be open!
I saw the poor woman last evening and she's eating a lot so what does that tell ya????
Hey? I heard a good one a few hours ago! Did you know that J.D. Irving himself visited the Premier the day before the Budget was announced?
Did the Premier have to receive the ok from J.D. Irving before giving out the budget? Who know? You tell me????
Speaking of the Irvings! Home Depot is going to build a new store in Saint John and that's great because they sure can compete with Kent's < Irving Company! >
The sad part is that the Irvings bought a truss company in Lorneville name- ShamRock! < I think that’s the name? > Who are the people you asked? They run a Its a truss company firm so therefore Home Depot could not go to them for help!
You see the Irvings have a very racist company name - Gulf Operators to run the trucking business in Saint John! They hurled Rocks for their costumers!
Hey? Don't forget? Spring is here and if you buy from Gulf Operators? It means that you support Racism!!!!!!
I wonder how Home Depot are going to move their materials around because I don't believe that the Irvings will give the competition a helping hand?
Do you want to have a look of how many companies the Irvings own.
Here's the list and there might be many more? If I missed some? please send me a email!!!

Of course we could add the Worker's Compensation Board or the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission on this list!
Speaking of Human Rights? I heard there's a Priest who’s going to appear in front of the Human Rights Commission in Alberta to explain his views against same marriage? Can you imagine that one?
The Irvings are allowed to hunt down and assault minorities in this Province and get away with it! Out West or Nova Scotia? You say a bad word against a minorities and the Commission will defend you?
What's wrong with this Picture anyway!
Speaking of the Irving Empire! My Column on the poor will not be printed in the Daily Gleaner! This was told to me a few hours ago!
It was supposed to be printed but the day before it was going to be in the Paper? Peter Huggart < is that how you spell his name > came to the Capital to be the new Publisher of the Daily Gleaner.
He stopped me from writing my views in the Telegraph Journal and now he's doing the same action in the Capital! Give me a break!
Let me know your views on this column that was suppose to be printed in the Daily Gleaner????

WE HAVE LOST A GREAT INDIVIDUAL!!!!
This was one of my predictions for the year 2005 that I was prayed I would be 100% wrong.
As you must know by now Pope John Paul have passed away.
On October 16, 1978, he became Pope. The only reason that I know the year is because I was in the middle of my marathon ten speed bicycle trip across the U.S.A.!

Pontiff and the Dove
One of the first action that grabbed my attention was the fact that he played different sports and loved to ski! A Pope playing sports? A high energizes spoke person from God?
I would always say that this Pope had ADHD big times. There’s no way in the world that he would stay in the Vatican as many other Popes in the past!
As I wrote in the past. ADHD is suppose to be a benefit and not a Disorder!
Travel the world he did in a remarkable fashion. He visited over 100 countries to preach the message of the Lord.
He spoke out loud and clear against Abortion and the issue of the poor around the world. He was the voice of many lost souls.
Yes, he was a great Pope but as we all know - No one is perfect!
His failure to acknowledge at a much faster of the sex scandal in the U.S.A. was a minus and also to recognizes the rights of Women in the Priesthood!
Aging never stop the Pope. Who will ever forget the last sad pictures of John Paul from his window in Rome? He didn’t hide the fact that he was dying and wanted to share this so call personal information with the whole world!
Many people around the Globe have only known one Pope so therefore he was special in many youths hearts!
Yes! We lost a great man and we will never see the likes of this Pope Again!
We have lost a great uniter of Religions and spoke person!
May God Bless his soul and I am certain that he will!!!

WE WILL NEVER SEE THE LIKES OF HIM AGAIN!!!
In the morning, I'll be good writing a little piece of the Pope! We will never see the likes of him again! There's a whole new generation who only seen one Pope!

Pope John Paul II
VATICAN CITY - Pope John Paul II, who led the Roman Catholic Church for more than a quarter century and became history's most-traveled pope, died on Saturday evening, the Vatican said in a statement.
“We all feel like orphans tonight but our faith teaches us that those who believe in the Lord live in him,” Archbishop Renato Boccardo told a crowd estimated at St. Peter’s.
The news was immediately announced to around 60,000 gathered in St Peter's Square.
"Our Holy Father John Paul, 84, has returned to the house of the Father," Archbishop Leonardo Sandri told the crowds.
Bells and tears
The statement was met with a long applause, an Italian sign of respect. Bells tolled and many people wept openly. Others sang the “Ave Maria” and other hymns.
“My father died last year. For me, it feels the same,” said Elisabetta Pomacalca, a 25-year-old Peruvian who lives in Rome.
“It was a great privilege to pray the Pope through his last minutes. We didn’t know we were doing it but I will always remember tonight as one of the most special moments of my life,” said Sandra Leone, 46, from Rome.
When word of his death reached his hometown in Wadowice, Poland, at the end of a special Mass in the church where he worshipped as a boy, people fell to their knees and wept.
Church bells rang out after the announcement from the Vatican, but it took several minutes for people inside the packed church to find out as they continued their vigil into a second night. Then parish priest, the Rev. Jakub Gil, came to the front as the last hymn faded away, and said, “His life has come to an end."
World leaders reacted quickly to the loss.
"The world has lost a champion of peace and freedom" with the death of the pope, President Bush said in Washington.
A Mass was scheduled for St. Peter’s Square for 10:30 a.m. (4:30 a.m. ET) Sunday. The Vatican said the pope's body would will lie in state for public viewing in St Peter’s Basilica beginning Monday afternoon at the earliest.
In announcing the death, Sandri said, "The Holy Father died this evening at 9:37 p.m. in his private apartment. All the procedures outlined in the apostolic Constitution `Universi Dominici Gregis' that was written by John Paul II on Feb. 22, 1996, have been put in motion."
No. 2 official leads prayers
Cardinal Angelo Sodano, the Vatican No. 2 official, then led a tearful crowd of 70,000 people in St. Peter's Square in prayers for the dead pope.
The cause of death was not given but the pope’s health had deteriorated steadily over the past decade with the onset of Parkinson’s disease and arthritis, and earlier this year took a sharp turn for the worse.
He had an operation in February to ease serious breathing problems, but never regained his strength and last After word of the death spread, thousands of people from all over Rome, many with tears streaming down their faces, walked silently up the broad boulevard leading from the River Tiber to the Vatican.

POLITICIANS AND BUREAUCRATS IN FREDERICTON???? BEWARE!!!!
I never did this kind of action in the past and lets pray it will be the last time that I have to follow this action.
From the time that I leave my computer at the Public Library, I am going to remind every bureaucrats or politicians from both political parties that there’s a 5 months old pregnant female sleeping under the steps at the Soup Kitchen.
I’m going to tell these people to asks Family Services to investigate this issue!
I felt her belly last night and it sure wasn’t gas!
After I remind the people of the girl, I am going to post their name in my blog!
The readers will know if the person that I told about the poor girl cares or not! The only lucky bureaucrat in this City will be the ones that I don’t.
Let it be in the Malls, streets or outside of the Legislature. I will asked you if you have phone family Services asking questions about the unborn Child???
Why the hell do I get involved in these issues anyway? There’s one place that those bureaucrats or politicians will be safe and this will be in the Church!
The sanctuary of the Church will be respected! I will not discuss these issues in the House of the Lord!
If you wish to help the unborn child, Just past all these names < Politicians and send them an email asking them to investigate this issue! Here’s the emails-

DON'T ANYONE IN NEW BRUNSWICK CARE FOR THE UNBORN????
Guess what?????
I was right about that pregnant girl living under the stairways at the Soup Kitchen.
A reader of my blog was right beside me while I touched her belly! She’s closing in on five months of pregnancy and no one from the Government are asking any questions!
Come one!!! GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!
I feel bad because as I said in the past, I’m a pretty good judgement of Character!
So therefore In New Brunswick? Family Services don’t protect the unborn???
I am really going to be pushing this issue in talk shows, blogs and with those politicians! Excuse me? But don’t anyone care anymore? Please let me know!!!!

WOULD POLITICAL LEADERS AND BILLIONAIRES BE EXECUTED 200 YEARS AGO????
NEWS- MEALS SERVED AT THE FREDERICTON SOUP KITCHEN
1999-31,001 MEALS
2004- 85,271 MEALS
Someone is supposed to send me the charts from the year 1990-2004 during the next few day! Enjoy your hot home cook meals during the weekend!!!
This morning I made a little prayer for the Pope and I hope that you did the same action.
The grammar yesterday was better than the day before but FOR you new readers must understand that I write like I talk.
BACKWARDS!!!!...lol…
I am Acadian!!! I am not going to take a print out and go over the fine details. I know for some people it’s very difficult to read but I’m trying my best to put a little pride in my blogs! Lets not also forget that I write often with anger so therefore my five ADHD brains are working overtime.
It’s raining outside and it’s cold so therefore go get a coffee or beer and lay back and enjoy!
By the way? There’s another blogsite that you might find interesting. It’s at
Charles
Blog
This is from a chap who also loves to share his views with the public and no one knows his name and he likes it that way! Hey? At least you know it’s a male!..lol..
I saw a sad sight a few minutes ago. The area close to the PlayHouse in the Capital, The City crews cut down all the huge trees in that area! That’s a shame because it was a nice area to relax during the hot summer months.
Yesterday, I met a woman who’s child have been force to take not Ritalin but the other drug! Cancerta!!!!
It’s the same as Ritalin! Drug is Drug! Anyway, she was very concern once I told her how the Government treats people with ADHD!
You see? These are orders from those racist Members of the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission that adults with ADHD should be ignore at any cost!
I guess the Irving Management have begun their witch-hunt against people who they believe have ADHD!
I phoned Jeannoit Volpe < Minister of Finance > last night on an open line Television talk show and I felt bad for the guy because he received many angry phone calls from the public.
Myself? I once again told the Minister that he don’t listen too good because I told him if he wishes to save money? He should eliminate those racist members of the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission!
You don’t believe me? The show will be replayed all weekend on Rogers. I believe the time are 8:00pm tonight, Saturday and Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm! I was direct and straight forward!
I also thanked the minister for the huge hick rate for the people on Social assistant! < 2% > I offer the Minister to trade places for him for a one week period. He can live in my little room and I’ll live in his huge house! Another female caller offered Mr.Volpe the same proposal!
At the end of the show, a caller told the audience that people must get off their butts and go to school just like she did! Another caller told the Minister that people on welfare drink beer all day!
Excuse me? I wish that was the case!!! My God? $264.00 an month and drink beer all day? Please let me know where that cheap beer is located???
I wouldn’t stay sober for weeks at the time!!....lol…
I understand their way of thinking because I had the same way of thinking when I was working at the Shipyard and making good money!
I forgot to add that the minister isn’t a bad guy! I chatted with Mr.Volpe on many occasions and he has never ignored moi!!!
What’s really bad here is those kids who are force to take Ritalin are labelled by the Government so in future years, they will become the Social Outcast and it’s up to the Government to take care of them for the rest of their miserable lives!
The LNG plant was again in the news last evening because the Mayor of Saint John held a little town hall meeting and I might add that Carl White didn’t show up! < I wonder why? > He just better stay at Pete’s Pub for his safety!...lol…
Anyway, 200 people showed up and they were very angry of the way a tax deal was reach with the Irvings!
Lately? It’s been all Irvings Irvings Irvings!!!! The Government turns around and tell the working poor that they have to pay more money at power rates, beers, property taxes, etc etc etc!
This Government looks at the poor and say - Let them eat Cake!!!
You know what?
If this kind of action or attitude happened 200 years ago????
There would be a huge revolution! All these leaders and Billionaires would be executed and they would begin anew!
But this is Canada!!!! We don’t do these actions but how much longer can we continue to live in a so call civilizes matter???
But really? Think about it?
The Irving Final Solution is all in play! They have control of the Capital with all their Irving bureaucrats! They control all the newspapers in this Province! They are training future Journalists to follow the Irving way!!!! Etc etc etc….
As I wrote in the past and I pray that it doesn’t happen but it’s only a matter of time till someone cracks up and crosses that thin line!
It’s happening all around the world all the time! How much longer can New Brunswickers remain passive? That’s the emotional question?
It sure won’t be done by a loud mouth individual like myself but the quiet type who keeps everything inside in little frustrated mind!
As a P.C. Bureaucrat told me a few days ago. We have a good budget, there’s no protests outside the Legislature so therefore everyone is happy!
I just wonder how happy New Brunswickers are?
Of course we’re not allowed to write critical letters of the Evil Irving Empire which reminds moi???
My column about the poor hasn’t been printed?
I must once again phone the Editor! Maybe the Irvings are denying the poor the right to speak out? Who knows? But this will be good for me to tell the Senate on April 21st in Moncton!
NO ..NO NO……CLOSING IN ON 1,000 WORDS ALREADY????
I got much more to write about!!!!...lol It will have to wait till the morning! Have a good weekend and excuse the style and grammar of this update because I just write the darn thing and send it along the information Highway! Bye bye!!

Fredericton's Poor
This will be a continually updated post to allow Charles to address the issues that constantly face and persist for Fredericton's Poor.
Fredericton Community Kitchen

Limited Seating in the Fredericton Community Soup Kitchen
Above is an image of the seating at the Fredericton Community Kitchen. The kitchen seats about 40 at a time and with the average visitors double that amount, it is most often tight quarters for dinner time. Below are three graphs illustrating the trends over the course of nearly 10 years in Fredericton with the users of the Community Kitchen. Thanks goes out to the Community Kitchens administration for use of these numbers.

A blustering wind blows into the square beside the emergency shelter which joins the local community kitchen, a soup kitchen and food bank for the poor. One after another, men come out of the building and stick a cigarette between their lips. They lean on the iron bar, looking down to avoid the snow falling in their faces.
Looking around further, the board of rental housing aims right at us. Fredericton is becoming an increasingly expensive place to live. Upper-class apartment buildings are being built up and seeking people who can afford to reside live there.
Meanwhile, there are people struggling to find a place to live, and moving into the emergency shelter. High housing costs are forcing people on little social assistance into there. The emergency shelter is currently housing more than forty people.
Brian Justason moved from St. John a couple of months ago, and is now living in the emergency shelter.
Housing is too much money, says Justason. We can't afford it. That's why we are living in a place like this homeless home.
According to Article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social service.
However, there are doubts that social assistance actually helps people without a job and a home.
The New Brunswick Common Front for Social Justice reports that a single person in NB receives $3,383 of annual social assistance - the lowest in the country.
Kirk Jonah has been living in the emergency shelter for three months.
I'm pretty lucky to have a shelter,says Jonah.You can't rent a room with your social assistance. You need a shelter because you can't get a room. A lot of people need more social assistance to get a room as it goes now. With 260 dollars a month of social assistance, you can't rent a room.
I don't think housing is more expensive than other cities as far as affordable housing goes, says Eric Price, a licensed realtor of Chippin¡Ã‡s Limited in downtown Fredericton. Applicable apartments are available ln downtown. They range anywhere from 450 to 650 dollars a month. That's heated.
However, he has recognized that living in Fredericton has become more expensive because of high taxation and high utilities. He owns a building with four units and pays $6,000 a year for property tax.
Rentals have been increasing because tax is phenomenally high, says Price. Rental units in New Brunswick are the highest than any other province in Canada. Therefore, landlords are forced to charge more money for apartments in
Fredericton.
Some of them are actively looking for jobs together to move to more conformable places.
Ree Cooney moved from Calgary, Alberta, living in the emergency shelter. He finds less job opportunities than back home.
More rooms are affordable than Calgary, says Cooney. But, wages are lower. There are more jobs in Alberta as well. In Alberta, you can start working with 10 or 12 dollars an hour even without experience oreducation backgrounds.
I think that it is important to get a job first now, says Peter Davin from the States. I need money to maintain a room. But there are no jobs in Fredericton.

CHARLES WILL EXPOSE THE IRVINGS TO THE SENATE ON APRIL 21ST!!!!
Once again, I am very sorry for the poor grammar in yesterday update and I suppose this one will not be better but as I always say - I just write the darn
thing and send it along the information Highway!
The issue to have a standing committee to study the issue of Ritalin in this Province isn’t dead yet!
I was told that the verdict will come down in a couple of weeks! I heard some very interesting stories on this issue and I will share it with the readers in a couple of weeks!
My God? The talk show in Saint John < CFBC > are still full of callers phoning in to voice their anger against the LNG plant in Saint John! This issue isn’t likely to go away anytime soon! I guess there’s a meeting tonight in Red Head so lets see how many people will show up at that meeting?
I remember the good old days of working at the Shipyard. I had a car and I would always attend these meetings but those days are long gone.
Hey? Speaking of meetings? I received this email yesterday-
Dear Mr. Leblanc:
If you wish to appear before the Committee please
contact Mr. Till
Heyde, Clerk of the Committee. at (613) 991-3620
(direct line), or
toll-free at 1-800-267-7362. Alternatively, if you
wish to provide the
Committee with a brief only, please forward it to the
attention of the Clerk
of the Committee at the following address and it will
be translated and
distributed to all members of the Committee:

Thank you.
I called Ottawa and I’m set to make my presentation to the Senate Committee in Moncton on April 21st!
I don’t have a vehicle but I will hitch a ride to that meeting! They told me that I have only 5 minutes to speak but I will need more time than that! I am going to go and tell these appointed officials of the way the Irvings are running this
Province just like Hitler did in Germany! < Newspapers wise >
The Daily Gleaner haven’t print my column about the poor people in this City! What does this mean? No real stories on the poor from the Irving papers? I am going to do direct and straight forward!
I wrote and got printed 500 letters to the Editor during the past 15 years and suddenly the Irvings gave the orders not to print my letters! All thanks goes to Peter Huggart!< How do you spell his name anyway? >
I am going to expose the Irvings like they are! Of course they won’t take me seriously because I’m not rich but I will be direct and to the point!!! The Irvings must be put to a stop!
They are making themselves looked good with the LNG fiasco but the public knows better because there’s no way in the World that Jamie Irving will write critical stories or investigate his Father J.D. Irving! Hey? A Billionaire who supports Racism? That’s a story right there!
Speaking of racism? Yesterday, I heard from a few people that the
poor were neglected in yesterday budget and if Mr.Volpe wanted to save some money?
He could eliminate those racists members of the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission! That Commission must be eliminated and run like the office of the
Ombudsman.
In that department? If you don’t work for New Brunswickers, you are shown the door! These racist C.U.P.E. members are protected by the Union therefore cannot be touch! They are appointed for life!!!!
These poor people told me that have nowhere to go and they told me they sure cannot go to Carl White for help! You see? The poor are not protected under any
Government law! Boarders or Roomers are treated like dirt and I will write more about this issue in weeks to come.
Something must be done about this very emotional issue! I believe that a huge beginning to treat the poor people with dignity would be to eliminate these open
cubicles at the Welfare office in the Capital!
The poor citizens must have access to privacy! We sure cannot go to the Human Rights Commission on this issue because they don’t care!
I heard that those people lost another case through the courts? How come that every instance those racists goes to court? They lose?
First, they screwed up on the Cudmore Case therefore allowing the Government to deport all the kids with ADHD from New Brunswick like the Acadian
were deported in 1755!
The only true school to educate these high intelligent kids are in Nova Scotia! But the problem will be of how to make certain that these hyper kids reach their destination? Once in the trains? They will move so much that
the train will derailed!!! …lol…
These orders are from an Acadian Judge so it makes a person wonder! We should have elected Judges in this Country! ok..I’m tired and it’s time for me to go and as usual?
I am certain that I screwed up with some grammar in this update also! Excuse the style and grammar because I just write the darn thing and send it along
the information Highway! Have a good day! Bye bye!!!!

FIRST P.C. MLA GIVES CHARLES AN INTERVIEW!!!!
Jody Carr was the first P.C. MLA to visit me during my six months protest! < he came after I was there for 23 days! He's also the first P.C. MLA to email me his answers to my question! Here we go in his words!!!
1- Where are you from?
I was born in Saint John, NB, am from Geary, But I currently live in Burton, NB (outside Oromocto) with my wife Krista and our daughter Taylor.
2- How long have you been an MLA?
I have been an MLA since 1999 (six yrs this June) when the Lord Government swept NB. I first ran for politics at age 20 while still at UNB in the 1995 general election coming second with 28% of the vote against LIB Vaughn Blaney. I have great respect for Mr. Blaney.
3- How old are ya????
I am 29 years old. I turn 30 on July 3.
3a- Do people often get you confuse with your twin brother Jack??? Does he get the same problem???
My brother Jack is 7 mins older than I am. I also have an older brother named Jeff. People do get us mixed up from time to time. We never intentionally fool people but have often thought of sending him in the legislature for me to vote. This Friday (April 1st) might be a good day to try it! (Charles, don’t tell anyone OK?)
4- What are the most important issues in your riding?
Military spending. Affordable housing for low income earners. Always Jobs. Roads. Health care, including the Oromocto Hospital.
5-Do you believe there's a problem with Ritalin in this Province? If the answer is yes? How do we confront this issue?
I have had but a handful of people from my riding approach me about the issue. I am glad Charles you will be able to present to the officials at the Dept of Education about your concerns as part of the Wayne MacKay Study.
6-Do you believe there's a major problem with prescription drug on the streets?
I think this is a problem more and more. Remediation with new programs the government has introduced like Methadone will indeed help. We must continue to also focus on the preventative for our young people and continue supporting programs like DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) for our grade 5 students.
7- How would you handle the issue of Vlt's?
The government has indeed done quite a bit so far on the issue (compared to years ago). We have restricted access to only bars. Maybe more can be done. I hope we all keep looking at the issue.
8-Why don't Bernard Lord go out and face the protesters in front of the Legislature? Do you believe that Shawn Graham would be different?
I truly think every politician who gets elected works for the betterment of the people of NB. Bernard Lord has great vision, he is focused on results, he works with his caucus, we are all behind him. The premier tackles issues in a very logical and organized fashion. He likes to have the facts in front of him and really focuses on what he feels is best for the future of the Province. Sometimes decisions are difficult, sometimes people are not happy, sometimes people do not understand why decisions are made, but at all times, our Premier and our caucus, has our minds focused on doing what we feel will make the most improvements to the lives of all of the people in the province. In 6 years a lot has been accomplished by the Lord Government.
Total annual spending on Education has increased by $265 Million (or 22%) since the 1998 year
Spending on Universities has increased by 24% or $38.3 Million since 1998. Before we took office University spending was being cut.
$890 Million more spent on Health and Seniors this yr compared to 1998
There are 177 net new doctors in NB now compared to 1999. This yr 50 net new doctors, 1998 only 15
There are 570 new full time nurses, an 11% increase since 1999.
There are 15,471 (25.4%) less people on social assistance, funding will increase by 6% over the next 3 years.
Minimum wage is up
There are 28,000 more people working now since 1998 (in the 4 years before we took office only 8000 more jobs)
Unemployment rate is now at 9.8% for the year. Best rating ever in the province.
In 1998, NB had the highest corporate tax in Canada at 17%, we are now 3rd lowest at 13%
We have provided personal tax relief to ALL NB’ers in the amount of $608 Million cumulatively since 1999. 43,000 low income earners no longer will pay provincial income tax.
We are the first government in NB who has met the Balanced Budget Legislation
Since 2000, only two provinces in Canada has reduced their net debt (Alberta and you guessed it NB)
Because of good fiscal management our credit rating has increased, therefore lowering our interest costs. We now spend 9.8% of the budget on services the debt, the lowest in 2 decades.
There will always be challenges. We are proud to serve the people of NB and we will continue working hard to move the province forward.
9- Do you think there will be a Provincial Election this year?
No.
10- What's your views on the Monopoly the Irvings have in the Newspapers business in this Province?
Should New Brunswickers be concern?
There is certainly not a lot of competition in the Newspaper business in NB.
11-Are you going to re-offer?
I enjoy serving the people of Oromocto Gagetown. I have worked with many people in the riding to accomplish many things. I know politics is never a definite source of employment but I have always said that while I am elected I will work 110% not only at election time but all of the time. I will be re-offering in the next election on a platform promoting progressive change to move our province forward.
12- Do you believe that the bureaucrats are running this province so therefore no political party can change the system. One reason would be that we only have a population of 674,000 people? What do you think?
I think running government is not easy for any party. Over the last few decades, the size of government has increased. All of the government used to be located in the Departmental Building next to the legislature. Now look. Out of 30,000 civil servants there are really only 100 in total who are political staff and MLA’s. We must not forget that demand for programs and the need for stronger public regulations have also gone up too. I constantly have many constituents who contact me about issues who do not know where to go to get them solved. I think all jurisdictions should always look for ways to do things more efficiently and as cost effective as possible. I do not think the bureaucrats are “running the province”. The elected politicians have a job to set direction ie Health Plan, Prosperity Plan, Education Plan. The civil servants make recommendations and carry out the implementation. Do not forget the criticism Frank McKenna got from his own party after 1987 saying he was not running government. It does take some time for the elected bunch and the civil service to mesh or “get on the same page” sort of speaking. I think the government has done fairly well in working with the civil service and in particular have worked overall very well on labour relation contracts.
Thanks Charles for sending me your questions.

LOTS OF POOR PEOPLE UPSET WITH BERNARD LORD!!!!!
There's a lot of people upset with the Premier at the Legislature. The welfare rate went up a missy 6% over the next 3 years. I predicted a rate hick of 20 bucks but I have wrong! Stay tune for more info in the morning!!!
WILL THE LORD CABINET TURN ITS BACK ON LOUIS.J. ROBICHAUD????
Last night, I had to pick up a few things and it was four blocks from my place, It was nice outside so guess what?
I took my ten speed bicycle and for the first time this year. My God? I love to ride my bike. It’s nice way to get out all that frustrations while riding the bike.
For you new readers?
I rode a ten speed bicycle around the Maritimes, across Canada and the U.S.A. in the late 70s! I had ADHD in those days but no one knew about this beneficial disorder!
Speaking of ADHD! Melanson Live < talk show > had a good topic last night. They were talking about the Pope! I called in
surprise surprise surprise …lol…
I told the audience – Don’t tell me that the Pope don’t have ADHD! He’s full of energy < or was > and he travelled all around the world trying to unite all the different Religions!
I believe the repeat of the show will be on this afternoon at 3:00pm!
You see? ADHD is supposed to be a benefit and not to be labelled as close to mental retardation! But what I found very interesting was the last half of the talk show. People were calling in to give or asked questions about the Catholic Religion!
It had nothing to do with the Pope!
Myself? I’m driving my local Priest crazy! < you can see his picture on the front blog page! > I always asks him many questions on different issues!
You see? What has to happen is that the Catholic Church must give out classes to the Adult population so we can truly understand the history of the Catholic Church! Myself, I believe we’re all here for a reason. I can’t wait for my day of Judgement to arrive because I do have a lot of questions to ask the big boss
himself!
My sister is a family doctor and my two other brothers have families and huge homes but me I was a labour at the Shipyard!
Why me? That’s the emotional question? Why did I survive so long? How come I refuse to let go and walk towards the sunset with my head down and do like many other people who turn to alcohol and drugs to forget their problems? Why do I refuse to follow that route of shame or become a social outcast?
Why do I continue to battle the government and those racist members of the New Brunswick Human Rights commission of the great injustice that’s being done to the 10,000 kids with ADHD in this Province? Why am I so stubborn? Many questions but no
clear answers!
ADHD can be known as a learning problem and her in New Brunswick because of lack of resources? The only solution is Ritalin! Too bad so sad! I will find out this afternoon if Bernard Lord denied the 10,000 people who signed my petition to right to have a study done on Ritalin in this Province. I will let you know!
I always listened to the frustrations that the parents have to go through in the school system if their child is force on Ritalin! They are labelled as idiots and Stupid therefore forcing these high
intelligent children to turn towards violence because as Adults? In this Province, thanks to those racists members of the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission.
They are told by the Government that adults with ADHD are close to mental retardation and should be ignored at any cost!
I find it ironic that Volpe < Minister of Finance > told the media yesterday that the budget will help people who would love to go to work but can’t! Well? I am one of them that he’s talking about and I cannot work because of those racist members!
You see? Once you go for an interview? They asks you? Where did you work in the past?
My answer- I mainly worked for the Irvings all my life! Do you think that the Irvings will give me a good reference????..lol
Of course not and they have the backing of that racist Commission! As one senior bureaucrat told me last year! Sorry Charles! We can’t find you work because of the human rights decision! Hey? I’m not going away!
My God??? So far in this blog it’s been all moi me moi…Sorry about that!
Ok..last night Common Council in Saint John was a hectic scene! Around 250 people showed up to voice their anger against the Councillors who voted for the Irvings to get a huge tax break for the next 25 years! I might add that 22 people phoned in a local talk show < CFBC > voicing their anger!
People were screaming and shouting at the councillors who votes for the Irvings! Myself, I was surprised that 250 people showed!
If there weren’t so many poor people in Saint john,the amount would have been larger! Don’t forget? When you are poor? You lose all
energy to fight especially if you have a family because your main concern is to worry where you are going to get the next meals for your kids!
But I do have a question and this morning, I decided to ask a few politicians this question?
Are the Provincial politicians turning their backs on Louis Robichaud when it comes to equal opportunity???
Mind you? Just like the Catholic Religion, I don’t know much on this issue!I am not an expert! I guess what Equal Opportunity was set up for that poor Counties would be equal to big Cities so
therefore will this big LNG deal will it set up a precedent for big industries to deal with other poor Counties?
Will they demand the same deal as the Irvings received in Saint John?
Two politicians walked by the Legislature and just like a rat I jumped out from around the corner and asked the two guys the questions but I was surprised that they just continue their walk!
Of course, I won’t mentioned no names! The same action happened to me yesterday with a high P.C Bureaucrats! I tried to chat with the guy but he just kept on going!
I shouted at the two guys- Hey??? You can’t ignored a Blogger????...lol…. No comments and kept on walking!
Minutes later, I had a good conversation with two politicians and I asked the same questions?
Would this LNG deal be a slap to the face to Louis Robichaud for his fight for equal Opportunity???
From what I was told that we live in a different world compare to 30 years ago. We are dealing with competition all around the
world and Louis would support this deal with the Irvings! I might add that if the Port of Saint John has work therefore it’s good for the whole Province!
What do you think? I was told that maybe it wasn’t done properly but we have to move on! What do you think about this deal? Do you think that the Lord Cabinet should investigate the matter the deal was reach???
Should they ok this deal? Should this issue be debated on the floor of the Legislature? Let me know!!!
SH@T Over 1,200 words already and I have much more to write about! I guess it will have to wait till the morning!
Well? The Legislature open in one hour from now and lets see what kind of budget New Brunswickers will have! I wonder how much the welfare rate is going to go higher? 20 bucks???
Surely more than this because it’s impossible to live on $264.00 a month in this Province.
Please excuse the style and grammar of this update because I just write the darn thing and send it along the information Highway! Bye bye!!!
Hey? If you’re still with me and I doubt it!!...lol…I added this little story that was sent to me yesterday! It’s pretty sad but true!! Here’s the tale—
A minister passing through his church
in the middle of the day,
Decided to pause by the altar
and see who had come to pray.
Just then the back door opened,
a man came down the aisle,
The minister frowned as he saw
the man hadn't shaved in a while.
His shirt was kinda shabby
and his coat was worn and frayed,
the man knelt, he bowed his head,
Then rose and walked away.
In the days that followed,
each noon time came this chap,
each time he knelt just for a moment,
A lunch pail in his lap.
Well, the minister's suspicions grew,
with robbery a main fear,
He decided to stop the man and ask him,
"What are you doing here?"
The old man said, he worked down the road.
Lunch was half an hour.
Lunchtime was his prayer time,
For finding strength and power.
"I stay only moments, see,
because the factory is so far away;
as I kneel here talking to the Lord,
This is kinda what I say:
"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD,
HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIP
AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN.
DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY,
BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY.
SO, JESUS, THIS IS JIM
CHECKING IN TODAY."
The minister feeling foolish,
told Jim, that was fine.
He told the man he was welcome
To come and pray just anytime.
Time to go, Jim smiled, said "Thanks."
He hurried to the door.
The minister knelt at the altar,
he'd never done it before.
His cold heart melted, warmed with love,
and met with Jesus there.
As the tears flowed, in his heart,
he repeated old Jim's prayer:
"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD,
HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIP
AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN.
I DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY, BUT I
THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY.
SO, JESUS, THIS IS ME CHECKING IN TODAY."
Past noon one day, the minister noticed
that old Jim hadn't come.
As more days passed without Jim,
he began to worry some.
At the factory, he asked about him,
learning he was ill.
The hospital staff was worried,
But he'd given them a thrill.
The week that Jim was with them,
Brought changes in the ward.
His smiles, a joy contagious.
Changed people, were his reward.
The head nurse couldn't understand
why Jim was so glad,
when no flowers, calls or cards came,
Not a visitor he had.
The minister stayed by his bed,
He voiced the nurse's concern:
No friends came to show they cared.
He had nowhere to turn.
Looking surprised, old Jim spoke
up and with a winsome smile;
"the nurse is wrong, she couldn't know,
that in here all the while everyday at noon
He's here, a dear friend of mine, you see,
He sits right down, takes my hand,
Leans over and says to me:
"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, JIM,
HOW HAPPY I HAVE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND THIS FRIENDSHIP,
AND I TOOK AWAY YOUR SIN.
ALWAYS LOVE TO HEAR YOU PRAY,
I THINK ABOUT YOU EACH DAY,
AND SO JIM, THIS IS JESUS
CHECKING IN TODAY."
If this blesses you, pass it on.
Many people will walk in and out of your life,
but only true friends will leave
footprints in your heart.
May God hold you in the palm of His hand
And Angels watch over you.
But for those of us who are already His, He not
only holds us in the palm of His hand, but has
engraved our names there, and we are continually
in His sight (Isaiah 49:16)

So this is me .... Just Checking In
I took my ten speed bicycle and for the first time this year.

Lets try and help Charles Out - WCIE
I have been doing some spring cleaning and come across an old computer that I no longer use. The computer is in working condition but I had removed some parts to build another computer for a close friend. I would like to build this system up to give to Charles to help in his blogging efforts but need some parts to finish the system.
The computer is an HP/Compaq Desktop with an Intel Celeron 500MhZ processor with 128megs of ram and a 15gig HD. I would like to give this computer to Charles but need a few pieces to complete this system and give it a fresh start with a mild upgrade.
These are the parts that I need to make it work:
colour monitor,
keyboard and mouse,
cd rom drive,
These are the parts I wish to upgrade with to make it more compatible and useable today:
PCI or USB wireless networking card,
More 168 pin Ram 128megs - 256 megs.
Used or new are both appreciated equally.
If you can donate a few dollars, used or new parts please email me and let me know. I am certain Charles would apprciate having the internet at his place to keep us updated on the comings and goings associated with this site.
Regards,
WCIE
oldmaison.wcie@gmail.com
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As an update to this post.... I certainly hope your joking Charles about people thinking this is a scam... I will provide continual update on the progress of this project and any duplicate parts will be returned and any monies beyond whats needed to get this machine running properly will alos be returned. I do want to pass this on to Charles and will be leaving the capital city in 3 weeks for good. I am moving west but will remian committed to the administration of this site. If, after three weeks this computer is still not ready for Charles I would ask someone from this site in the capital city or near by to pick up this computer and continue trying to piece it back together for I find it important that Charles gets what he needs.
Again, if you would like to contact me please reach me at: oldmaison.wcie@gmail.com
THE IRVINGS MUST BE INVESTIGATED BY OTTAWA!!!!!
Yesterday afternoon, I received this little comment—
You should go and join an order of brothers or monks and then your good works will really benefit those who need it and not those who have no respect for themselves or others.
Diane
She’s the one who is suppose to publish my book and
she’s the owner of the River Valley News which my column is printed bi-weekly!
Once I receive this comment?
I began laughing my head off. The people around me believe that I was going nuts!
Then I remembered one of my newest photo in my photo album. Go have a look in my photo album and stroll down to picture 37!
Take a close look at my Holy Cross around my neck and the way that I have my hood over my head?...lol… I sure looks like a monk!!!!…lol…
I laughed and laughed to myself all day long! But laughing matters soon stop once I arrived at the Soup Kitchen.
I was told by some staff at the kitchen that the poor girl who sleeps under the stairway isn’t pregnant but then again I’m told by some people that she is pregnant!
I wasn’t too happy because I did learn a valuable lesson when I was protesting in my tent! I am a professional to judge the character of an individual!
Was I cone??? You know what??? I still believe that the girl is pregnant because I did have a good look at her when she came in the kitchen but then again?
She’s 30 years old and the Government or no one can do anything about this issue if she decides to stay under the stairway! It’s an very emotional issue and thank God that Spring is here because she won’t be forced to sleep in the cold but I will be following this situation very very very closely!
One individual told me a couple of weeks ago that a woman makes more on social assistant than men?
If you don’t have any children? You are punished big times! You will only received $264.00 an month from the Government and how the hell can you survive on this amount of money!
It’s bad enough that Family Services will not replace your teethes but they are degrading the poor of this Province. Take a close look at the Open Cubicles system in the Capital??? They shout personal questions to the needy and degrade them in front of the whole floor!
Do the Lord Government care about this?
Of course not!!!! It’s just another way to discourage the needy to apply for financial help! Bernard Lord wishes to cut Civil Servants from the Payroll? Why not begin with Kim Jardine or those racist Members of the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission????
These C.U.P.E. racist Irving Employees are not fighting for New Brunswickers rights! They are appointed for life in their jobs and there’s nothing New Brunswickers can do about this issue!
We even have a convicted thief- Carl White who stole from the Irving in the 80s and is now working for the Irving interest!
Look at the LNG situation in Saint John? Carl White told the media
that he stands by the Irvings 100%!!! I wonder why??? I rest my case!!
Tonight’s Common Council meeting will be very interesting! Lets see if these politicians are afraid of the Irvings???
I am concern about Shawn Graham < Leader of the Liberal Party > I heard that he told the media that he agrees with the Irvings signing that 25 years deal with the City of Saint John! I hope this is not the case!
The legislature opens in the morning and you people can see the whole schedule on the front page of my web site!!
Yesterday someone gave me a copy of the Globe and Mail and not the National Post like I told a talk show this morning! Anyway? They had a huge story on the Irvings and they were congratulated Jamie Irving for printing equal stories on the issue of the LNG plant!
Well? I know for a fact that there’s a little conflict between J.D. Irving and Irving Oil!
There’s no way in the world that Jamie Irving will do critical stories on his Father J.D. Irving but what I found very interesting was that the Globe and Mail told its readers that the main reason the Irvings are doing this is because the Senate Committee is doing a study of the way the Irvings are buying all the
newspapers in New Brunswick!
Question? I have just received a email from Ottawa but no dates when or if they are coming to this Province??? They must come to New Brunswick because the Irvings are running the newspapers like Hitler did in Germany!
As a matter of fact? I wrote a nice column in the Daily Gleaner about the issue of the poor people in this Province and it hasn’t been printed yet! Ever since Peter Huggart came to this City? My column has been denied! I am going to once again phone the Editor and maybe I’ll have to make a complaint to the Press Council in Halifax!
They print columns by Brent Taylor < a known bigot > and I heard that the Irvings are promoting this guy to run for the P.C. Party? Hey? When the day arrive that only certain individual will have a say in the opinion pages? That’s really sad for this Province!
Will the Senate come to New Brunswick to listen to New Brunswickers concerns of the way that we are denied our freedom of speech?
We need help because the Irvings are pushing the final solution big times!
They will only print praising letters of the Irving Empire and this is very very very sad!
I heard that Irving Management has already chosen their unique journalists at Saint Thomas? They donated one million dollar to that school to train these future Hitler opppsss I mean Irving journalist to their level!!!
You see, these young students will only write praising stories of the Evil Irving Empire and this is not right!
OPPPSSS OVER 1,000 WORDS!!! GOT TO GO and excuse the style and grammar of this update because I just write the darn thing and send it along the information Highway!!!
MY THIRD INTERVIEW WITH A PROVINCIAL LIBERAL POLITICIAN!!!!
This is my third interview with an elected Provincial official! His name is Kelly Lambrock. Here we go in his words—
Hi Charles!!
1- Where are you from?
Marysville, in Fredericton
2- How long have you been an MLA?
Nearly 2 years.
3- How old are ya????
35
4- What are the most important issues in your riding?
A- Making the education system work for all kids.
B- Access to university and community college for all citizens
C- Investing in the kind of high-skill jobs that build Fredericton's economy.
D- Getting a fair unconditional grant for our municipality.
5-Do you believe there's a problem with Ritalin in this Province? If the answer is yes? How do we confront this issue?
Yes, I do. I do NOT think that politicians should overrule doctors' prescriptions, however. What I do believe is that certain policies, like the under funding of special needs education and the lack of counselling resources in early grades lead to doctors over prescribing Ritalin
because we don't have the resources to deal with behaviour issues properly.
I would support fixing those two problems and then tracking to see if
Ritalin use declines.
6-Do you believe there's a major problem with prescription drug on the streets?
That's what I'm hearing from a number of community leaders. I wish that we had a better monitoring system in place so we could see numbers.
7- How would you handle the issue of Vlt's?
I believe that, generally, people should be free to make their own choices about whether to gamble or not. I don't like government telling people whether or not they can play poker (or drink beer, or use the internet, which are also things where people get addicted).. But I also
know that a lot of people say that VLTs aren't really about peoples' choices, because they operate in addictive way.
So, first, I would have an independent commission take over gaming, instead of the Department of Finance, since their mandate is simply to make money. Second, I would make an ironclad law that so much money from gambling has to go back to treatment programmes. And I would call for a review to see if VLTs are more addictive than other forms of gambling. If they are, then I would phase them out and replace the revenue with less addictive forms of gaming.
8-Why don't Bernard Lord go out and face the protesters in front of the Legislature? Do you believe that Shawn Graham would be different?
I won't speculate on what motivates the Premier. You can ask him. But I think that politicians should meet, and talk with people who disagree with them. When I proposed my dog law, I met with everyone who asked. And I learned some things from those with different opinions. And on some other things, I was able to convince people that I had a point. When I proposed a compromise, both sides seemed happy. I know already, Shawn Graham meets with people who disagree with his policies on things like forestry and Point Lepreau. He's not too insecure to listen to constructive criticism. And I think he'll be like that as Premier, too.
9-Do you believe that voters look at you different because your a lawyer?
Now that you mention it, I do notice people tilting their head upwards
when they look at me. But maybe it's because I'm tall. :-)
10- Do you think there will be a Provincial Election this year?
I don't think about things I can't control. If the Premier tells you, let me know.
11- What's your views on the Monopoly the Irvings have in the Newspapers business in this Province? Should New Brunswickers be concern?
I think concentration of media ownership is an issue in all of Canada -- although my reading list includes all 3 Irving papers because there's lots of good journalism there. I just read other sources too. The internet allows people to do their own research and thinking. If enough people broaden their reading lists to include thoughtful, fact-based journalism, mass media will respond to it. If people don't want anything else, then the market won't provide it. It's in our hands, really.
11-Are you going to re-offer?
I will decide on that when an election gets closer. I have young kids, and they come first.
12- Do you believe that the bureaucrats are running this province so therefore no political party can change the system. One reason would be that we only
have a population of 674,000 people? What do you think?
If I believed that, I'd go back to teaching full-time.
Thanks, Charles -- that was fun.
Hi Charles!!
1- Where are you from?
Marysville, in Fredericton
2- How long have you been an MLA?
Nearly 2 years.
3- How old are ya????
35
4- What are the most important issues in your riding?
A- Making the education system work for all kids.
B- Access to university and community college for all citizens
C- Investing in the kind of high-skill jobs that build Fredericton's economy.
D- Getting a fair unconditional grant for our municipality.
5-Do you believe there's a problem with Ritalin in this Province? If the answer is yes? How do we confront this issue?
Yes, I do. I do NOT think that politicians should overrule doctors' prescriptions, however. What I do believe is that certain policies, like the under funding of special needs education and the lack of counselling resources in early grades lead to doctors over prescribing Ritalin
because we don't have the resources to deal with behaviour issues properly.
I would support fixing those two problems and then tracking to see if
Ritalin use declines.
6-Do you believe there's a major problem with prescription drug on the streets?
That's what I'm hearing from a number of community leaders. I wish that we had a better monitoring system in place so we could see numbers.
7- How would you handle the issue of Vlt's?
I believe that, generally, people should be free to make their own choices about whether to gamble or not. I don't like government telling people whether or not they can play poker (or drink beer, or use the internet, which are also things where people get addicted).. But I also
know that a lot of people say that VLTs aren't really about peoples' choices, because they operate in addictive way.
So, first, I would have an independent commission take over gaming, instead of the Department of Finance, since their mandate is simply to make money. Second, I would make an ironclad law that so much money from gambling has to go back to treatment programmes. And I would call for a review to see if VLTs are more addictive than other forms of gambling. If they are, then I would phase them out and replace the revenue with less addictive forms of gaming.
